Good Product

If you do not have the right tool, it is going to take some time to install the product. I believe that in this particular type of mask there should be included a small plastic accessory to help you installing the lenses without risking any damages.

Now my wife can enjoy the u/w world

By kgb_agent

I dive, my wife doesn't. We recently went to Boniare and I wanted her to better enjoy snorkeling. With these corrective lenses, she is now able to really see what I have been raving about. These are great

Do you have Vision Problems when Diving?
Rx lenses are offered on several TUSA styles of masks. This option allows the diver to choose right and left lens powers in both a variety of Diopter for maximum flexibility and for a custom fit. Just as eyeglasses are the easiest and safest way to correct vision topside, corrective lenses are the simplest and most cost-effective choices for correcting vision underwater.

Tired of not being able to see well underwater? Can't read your computer or gauges? Maybe you not sure what F-stop you are setting your camera on? If these are problems for you when diving, you need to get a set of Diopter lenses for your dive mask. If you need corrective lenses for your Liberator-Plus Series 2 Windowed Mask (see SKU: TBTM57), it can be easily fitted with optical lenses from -1.5 to -8.0 Diopters in 0.5 increments. Lenses are manufactured from tempered glass. Stop squinting and dive safer with corrected vision underwater.

This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Questions about this item:

angel p  do they sell a normal lens that isnt prescription?
Mario C  no we do not
Rick B  i have a TUSA Liberator Plus 5700 that is 9 years old and want a single correction glass for one eye for U/W photography. My reader glasses are +2.50. Is the -2.5 corrective lens you list of available corrections the same as my +2.50 reader glass that I am looking for?
SCOTT S  It is not. You need a + lens, not a - lens. The liberator mask does not have + rated corrective lenses https://www.leisurepro.com/p-tbtml8p/tusa-corrective-plus-lenses-for-m-212-28-40-7500 These lenses are for the Ceos mask, which has a similar fit to the Liberator that you have, but an enhanced softer more comfortable skirt. https://www.leisurepro.com/p-tbtm212/tusa-ceos-mask
Felix F  Hi, I would like to purchase the Tusa Liberator and Rx lenses as a gift for my sister. She is just now training for her PADI OWD certification. My question is how difficult is it to clear this mask underwater? I use a Tusa Freedom HD, which is very easy for me to clear. I'm curious if anyone has had any issues with clearing this mask.
EMMANUELE C  The clear operation underwater is performed as in any other masks, no differences.
DAVID R  I love my Tusa Liberator (with Rx lenses) and have never had a problem with it. It's very easy to clear!
DANIEL K  Sorry, I just snorkel, but the mask is very high quality and the lenses were perfect. So I never tried this.
NICHOLAS N  It is no harder to clear than any other mask that I have used. There is not too much volume inside if that is what you mean. It has no special clearing valves but training shows proper mask clearing underwater.
Felix F  Thank you Nicole. That's what I wanted to know.
MARILYNN L  They are so easy! Very large comfortable lenses with adjustable strap to keep it tight. that's the key with any goggle. You don't want too much water getting in. My boyfriend said this was the first time he could see underwater. He has used them on a wave runner too. they are good for any water sports so glasses won't fall off. I recommend them 100%. You won't be disappointed.
DAVID B  First off, the corrective lenses are so nice, love being able to SEE underwater!! I have not had any problems clearing the mask. Dave
Felix F  Thank you David.
PAUL B  It's no different than clearing any mask
Mauricio C  I only have a -1.25, both eyes. If I get the -1.50 lens, is it going to be too strong of a correction ?
Angelo F  Great question.. Remember everything is magnified underwater with your -1,25 you wouldn't be able to gain any effect ...
JON W  That would honestly be a question for your optometrist, but it probably wouldn't be too bad.
DANIEL K  No, I had the same problem and it is really a small difference. Don't worry about this..
Mauricio C  thanks Daniel, did you have a hard time changing the lens without damaging the mask ? mc
DANIEL K  Really no, not at all.
Mauricio C  hey Daniel, do you mind please explain the first steps how to get the lenses out ? it does not seem simple to me. is there a tutorial on youtube ? thank you .
DANIEL K  No problem. This mask is like brand new.
MARILYNN L  I got this for my boyfriend who has an unusual prescription. He said it was the first time he could see underwater in his life.. it's easy to install too...We got these in his near sighted script for distance viewing. Even though he has bifocals, you don’t need to see close up underwater. I think the water acts kind of like a lens but the question you ask would be for an eye doctor and also for the person selling the glasses.
MARJORIE I  Hi. I would like to buy this mask but each eye has a different grade. Would this be possible? Thanks.
MARTIN F  You can buy individual left and right lenses, each having its own diopter strength. You need to know your prescription for each eye. Just click on the "size" button, and you will see different left and right lenses of different strength corrections. This is a very good value.Installation is not extremely easy, but it isn't very hard either. You need to follow the instructions carefully.
MICHAEL V  Yes
DANIEL A  Yes, you can because you have to order Left and Right eye separate anyway. I have different prescription for my L and R eyes but is not a big difference so I bought the same. Underwater you have a 25% magnification so you can round to the next diopter.
JOSE R  Hi Marjorie, It is possible. First try with Leisure Pro if they can do that their customer service is pretty good. One of my family members is -8.50 and -8.00 and we had them on special order. Second go to Tusa website and you will see all the lenses they have. That mask is the same one I, my Wife and my two Daughters have and we all order the Corrective Lenses from Leisure Pro. I hope this helps. Cheers.
JEFF W  Not sure what you mean by grade - but I have a different prescription for each eye and this mask worked out great. You have to buy additional lenses if you wear glasses but they are easy to put in. Jeff.
PAUL B  Yes. You order each eye separately from 1 to 8 dioptics. I have 9.75 and 10.25 corrective, but the 8 in each eye is great. I RECOMMEND. Call them by phone to get the order correct. Also get the anti-fog spray.
MARK S  Simple answer- Yes.
Angelo F  Absolutely
MARJORIE I  Thanks Angelo. But can tusa install it for me and they will ship it as one whole piece ( installed correction lenses plus the mask)? I am afraid it will have some leaks if I install it myself. Help!
MARJORIE I  I have a prescription from my doctor, do you have an email where I can send it to? Thanks again.
Angelo F  Marjorie - yea just placed the order thru Leisure Pro .. We will need to know what lens for what eye... We cN do the installation no sweat....AF
Angelo F  Marjorie just it all thru LP ... Give them the order they'll submit and will take it from there ...AF
MARJORIE I  Great thank. I'll do it . Thank YOU so much.
MARJORIE I  Hello Angelo. I sent an email and no one responded..maybe i will give them a call tomorrow. thanks.
RICHARD S  Hi Marjorie, I purchased this mask for my wife and she was pleased with the lenses, Leisure pro will install the lenses for you so you should ask them that question, as far as I know they'll put in what ever lens you specify & they don't have to be the identical, after all our eyes don't usually require the same prescription for each... Best regards, Rick
MARILYNN L  Yes.. I bought them for my boyfriend. He has really bad vision and and it's different in each eye. he wears special lenses.. i think he had astigmatism... They did a great job and its easy to pop into the frame... for the first time he could see under water and he was so happy.!
DAVID R  You can definitely get different corrections for each lens. You need to purchase the two lenses (left and right) with the correct prescription. If you don't already have the mask, you'll need to buy the Tusa Liberator-Plus mask, as well. It's a great mask, and the lenses are easy to install and work great. I wouldn't dive without them!
MARJORIE I  Thanks David. But can tusa install it for me and they will ship it as one whole piece ( installed correction lenses plus the mask)? I am afraid it will have some leaks if I install it myself. Help!
DAVID R  I don't know if that's possible. Maybe you could take it to your local dive shop? It's really pretty easy to install and probably very little chance of a leak. The silicone rubber seal on the lenses is pretty foolproof.
