Great knife, very sharp, but if you don't dry it immediately after finishing your dive it will have rust spots on it. All in all a great knife

I have over 100 dives with this knife... i've used it to pry scallops of the rocks, cut line and rope of lead and lures i've found on the bottom or stuck in rocks, and it works great for cleaning scallops underwater and after the dive.
At TUSA, everything they produce is closely scrutinized to ensure it performs to the highest standard. TUSA knives, for example, feature a locking sheath so the knives are always ready when you need them. The release mechanism is designed so you can get your knife out at a moment's notice. In addition, all TUSA Imprex knives have a sharpened straight and serrated 420-grade stainless steel blade, so they can cut everything from rope to underwater obstructions in a matter of seconds and can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance.
The TUSA Imprex Knife has an efficient 4-7/8" (13 cm) blade with a serrated edge and a line cutter on one side with a full straight edge on the other side. The knives overall length is 10-1/8" (26 cm) with a blunt tip design. The ergonomic designed grip is made from a durable rubber and plastic. The hand grip has an eyelet for attachment of a wrist lanyard. A heavy-duty metal butt cap allows the knife to be used as a tank-banger for signaling underwater. The sheath has a single button lock mechanism to secure the knife. The sheath has easy adjustable buckles and straps that allow for a comfortable fit. Knife is available in multiple colors.

I am wonderin how does the handle detach?
Angelo F
There is a screw on the handle which allows the blade to separate for easy cleaning...
AKIRA T
1. Take out a bolt from end of the grip.
2. Take out a plastic blade lock.
3. pull out a blade from top.
TIFFANY P
The grey part on the sheath fits into the dent in the knife handle, and acts like a button to detach

Hi, I was wondering if the knife can be attached to BC.
I maybe using the strap but in occasions may need to attach the knife to my BC. I was wondering if it can be used both ways ?

Hi,
I have owned this knife for almost 5 years. The best feature there is a screw off end so the entire handle can be removed for cleaning and drying. As for attaching to the BC, I don't think it is possible as is. However if the straps were removed, you could loop a ribbon through with clips on it. I wouldn't use the existing straps to clip to my BC. Hope this helps.

It is quite a big knife to attach to a BC. You would also have to rig some way of using the existing strap as you attach it to the BC. I am not quite sure you would be able to secure it to the BC and it be very sturdy. Removing and replacing the strap from the knife would be difficult at best and may eventually lead to strap failure.

I bought this knife for my husband....he hasn't tried to attach it to a bc....but is not impressed with the plastic sheath. He thinks the knife is of good quality.

It is not a bad knife for the price, but, for me, it is a bit too big to fit comfortably on a BC.

I am sure you could find a way to attach the knife to your bcd, but as it stands it does not. There are many knifes out there that are made to attach tk your reg hoses or bcd itself. I've carried thiis knife on the inside of my calf for apart 5 years now and love it
