Very sharp out of the box

Great knife, very sharp, but if you don't dry it immediately after finishing your dive it will have rust spots on it. All in all a great knife

Russ Imprex Blunt Tip Knife

By

from Durango , CO, US

I really like this knife! Large enough for practical uses but not too large! The leg straps are strong and the latching mechanism seems durable...I recommend this Knife!!

Good knife

A really nice knife that I have had no problems with. It is a little too bulky for me because I like small knives. I like the straps.

Very nice

Clip system holds knife in place without worry of accidentally slipping out of scabbard . Also like the rubber leg strap & clip system, secures it well to leg. Holds sharp edge well.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
THOMAS J  Excellent price for the quality and used this as a gift for my 11 yr old grandson for his JOW certification gift.
Shopper  I am wonderin how does the handle detach?
Angelo F  There is a screw on the handle which allows the blade to separate for easy cleaning...
AKIRA T  1. Take out a bolt from end of the grip. 2. Take out a plastic blade lock. 3. pull out a blade from top.
TIFFANY P  The grey part on the sheath fits into the dent in the knife handle, and acts like a button to detach
Shopper  Hi, I was wondering if the knife can be attached to BC. I maybe using the strap but in occasions may need to attach the knife to my BC. I was wondering if it can be used both ways ?
TIMOTHY R F  Hi, I have owned this knife for almost 5 years. The best feature there is a screw off end so the entire handle can be removed for cleaning and drying. As for attaching to the BC, I don't think it is possible as is. However if the straps were removed, you could loop a ribbon through with clips on it. I wouldn't use the existing straps to clip to my BC. Hope this helps.
CHARLES W  It is quite a big knife to attach to a BC. You would also have to rig some way of using the existing strap as you attach it to the BC. I am not quite sure you would be able to secure it to the BC and it be very sturdy. Removing and replacing the strap from the knife would be difficult at best and may eventually lead to strap failure.
JEANIE B  I bought this knife for my husband....he hasn't tried to attach it to a bc....but is not impressed with the plastic sheath. He thinks the knife is of good quality.
WILLIAM N  It is not a bad knife for the price, but, for me, it is a bit too big to fit comfortably on a BC.
JOHN C  I am sure you could find a way to attach the knife to your bcd, but as it stands it does not. There are many knifes out there that are made to attach tk your reg hoses or bcd itself. I've carried thiis knife on the inside of my calf for apart 5 years now and love it
