This knife rocks for the money, comfortable, a bit heavy and case is a bit bulky, but is a great knife, once you get used to it. Cuts really good, have used it twice to untangle myself from fishing line, and boy it's sharp, love the grip, it's big enough to hold with gloves, but not bulky enough when w/o gloves. My only beef with this knife is that from a 2 tank dive, by the time i got home (about 3 hrs later) there were signs of rust on the blade, so what i did was sand it down, WD40 the heck out of it, and now when i dive, i sink it in fresh water on the way home, and so far so good.

I've had this know for 2 years and it rusts unless it gets rinsed immediately after exposure to salt water. It just got splashed and it rusted (see pictures). Anyhow nothing that 45 minutes with an SOS pad didn't fix. I will say it is really sharp and has kept the sharp blade since I bought it.

Comments about TUSA Imprex Knife, Drop Point:

Have this knife in the blunt point style. Around 80-90 dives. Rust tried to be a problem, but I cleaned it well and coated it with a thin coat of white lithium grease. I have also used anhydrous lanolin. It doesn't wash off unless you rinse the metal with boiling water. Rust concerns have gone away. Just rinse, disassemble and air dry. When you think it needs it, give another shot of grease.

Good price. Has maintained its edge. Completely disassembles. I take it all apart and drop in some fresh water and it hasn't rusted. I read other reviews that claimed some rust, but that has not been my experience and I would say I put it through some harsh use.

Comments about TUSA Imprex Knife, Drop Point:

Stay away from this one, it rusts like nothing else I've used. Some say it rusts if not immediately rinsed, others say it has only surface rust. Allow me to let everyone know, even if you rinse this, even if you clean it, and steel wheel it, it will rust right through sitting in your closet. I can understand how a company would market this as a dive knife. I bought my GF a Wenoka and after multiple dives, and basically no care other than a light rinse it still looks new. Save your money and buy a Wenoka.
