great utility knife

I have over 100 dives with this knife... i've used it to pry scallops of the rocks, cut line and rope of lead and lures i've found on the bottom or stuck in rocks, and it works great for cleaning scallops underwater and after the dive.

Most Liked Negative Review

Avoid this one like the plague

I've had this know for 2 years and it rusts unless it gets rinsed immediately after exposure to salt water. It just got splashed and it rusted (see pictures). Anyhow nothing that 45 minutes with an SOS pad didn't fix. I will say it is really sharp and has kept the sharp blade since I bought it.

This is a birthday gift for my son. He picked it out and is extremely happy with it so far. He hasn't had a chance to use.it yet. He said looking it over and taking it apart he would recommend this knife. He will be using it when snorkeling.off of the N.C. coast while exploring ship wrecks and spearfishing.

Decent knife, still rusts

from Boston, MA, US

nice knife (probably bigger than needed for most jobs), plastic sheath is solid with a nice lock, knife disassembles into 3 pieces for easy cleaning but after a few dives, even with fresh water rinsing after every dive blade still rusts and needs to be buffed out

maintenance is key

from manahawkin, NJ, US

solid knife that will last if you take care of it. after dives rinse with fresh water and let dry. apply wd-40 occasionally to keep it rust free. I've had mine for a couple years so far and is like new

Solving rust problem

Have this knife in the blunt point style. Around 80-90 dives. Rust tried to be a problem, but I cleaned it well and coated it with a thin coat of white lithium grease. I have also used anhydrous lanolin. It doesn't wash off unless you rinse the metal with boiling water. Rust concerns have gone away. Just rinse, disassemble and air dry. When you think it needs it, give another shot of grease.

nice to use

I just don't like the clip that holds it on it has came unclipped while swimming once
