About Tusa Zen Air Integrated Wrist Dive Computer (IQ-950)
The IQ-950 Zen Air is TUSA's most advanced and full-featured wrist computer.
Built on the stylish design and platform of the IQ-900 Zen, the Zen Air is even further enhanced by adding hose-less air-integration, several advanced user-adjustable settings and the ability to program up to 3 transmitters and 3 gas mixes from 21%-100% oxygen. The Zen Air's large alphanumeric and backlit LCD screen clearly displays all the critical dive data including tank pressure(s), air-time and no-decompression time remaining, current/max depth, safety stop, deep stop and much more. Of course, the IQ-950 can be operated as a watch, air computer, Nitrox (EANx) computer, digital depth gauge/timer or as a free dive depth gauge/timer and with or without a transmitter.
The IQ-950 is the ultimate dive instrument offering a set of robust features that can be adjusted for personal preference. The Zen Air is available in brushed metal finish or limited black chrome. Convenience and ease-of-maintenance is imperative in the design of today's dive computer. The Zen Air Computer offer a user-friendly replaceable CR2450 lithium battery that can be changed on a moment's notice. The transmitter uses a 3 volt CR2 lithium cell which is also user replaceable. TUSA's PC-Logbook and TUSA DataLog PC interfaces allow the diver to transfer complete log and profile history from the dive computer to a personal computer or upload user settings to the computer. An optional safety stop on No Deco dives exceeding a depth of 80' (24.4 meters). TUSA's computers feature audible and visual alarms for the most important dive data warnings. Ascent rate, maximum depth, no decompression limits, safety stop and several other key data can be set to alert the diver. The altitude smart mode allows the computer to automatically adjust for altitude diving up to 14,000' (4,270 meters). The Zen provides a hose-less tank pressure reading up to 5000 psi (345 bars).
When coupled with the transmitter the Zen provides the following unique features:
Air Time Remaining (ATR):
The ATR feature calculates current depth, tank pressure, breathing rate, ascent time, and decompression status to tell exactly how much time you can remain underwater. The Zen dive computer continually displays ATR via a numerical bar graph in addition to cylinder pressure. You may also display ATR in oversized digits at any time with the press of a button.
Dive Time Remaining (DTR):
Dive Time Remaining, like air time remaining provides a 'real' number in minutes. This calculation combine's air time remaining, nitrogen and oxygen absorption, displaying whichever allows less time.
The computers has a Buhlmann ZHL-16c based Pelagic X+ algorithm, can be set for imperial or metric units of measure, provides dual time in 12 or 24 hour formats, a maximum depth rating of 330' (100 meters) and a 24 dive on-board logbook. Included with the wrist computer are a transmitter, Datalog USB interface, CD, owner's manual and wetsuit strap extension.
