Bought these fins based on favorable reviews, and they are GREAT! When I first got them, I was amazed at how lightweight they were, but after a test run in the pool, and then taking a dive trip to Key Largo, these fins really impressed me. For anyone wanting a lightweight fin to travel with without sacrificing power, go with these. I bought a pair for my wife!

I've had these fins for 5 years now and have used them only for snorkeling (I use different fins for diving). They provide great speed and movement in the water and were always comfortable. I'm not sure how long you expect your fins to last, but I only used them once a year for a couple of days over the course of 5 years so i was pretty let down when the rubber started tearing where the top foot piece connects to the fin. Once the tearing began they were useless within one day. My wife purchased a pair for herself at the same time i purchased mine, and the same tearing began on the same trip on hers.

So in the end they were great fins... but only lasted us approximately 20 snorkeling sessions. I expect more than that out of my gear.

I have traveled with these a little bulky Bahamas Grenadines and other places. Mainly bought for snorkeling, but love to use them SCUBA on wreck dives because of less kicking room needed.

              Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ANTONINA G  Sorry, did not last very long.Originally felt great.
Shopper  Rod M I have a size 12 4E foot (shouldnt need a fin). What size should I look at in these?
RICK T  I had to order one size smaller than what I normally wear. These fins run a tad big.
M M  I also have a 9 1/2 EE foot with a high instep . It would appear from the size chart that I fall between the ML and the L. I would prefer NOT to incorrectly order. Can you make a recommendation ? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
DAVID V  I wear a size 9. I thought when I bought a size L that these might be a little big so I also bouight a pair of inexpensive lightweight neoprene socks (not booties) to fill in the slack if necessary. As I recall, I atually wore a pair of regular socks and the footies or neoprene socks over them to be a better fit. This worked fine. The fins themselves are fine but I did not really notice any discernable improvement over my Dacor fins, which I switched back and forth. With the weight restriction on luggage being what it is the last couple of trips to Cozumel I opted for just taking my Dacors. When I move to Cozumel next year, I look forwarded to further use of the Tusas. I just had an idea -- I should have used one of each on a couple of dives to see if I could detect a difference.
