About Tusa Solla Fins

The SF-22 Solla combines TUSA's rich history of performance fin design with the latest Advanced Materials and Hydrodynamic Innovations. A completely new design, the Solla has several unique features that deliver Superior Propulsion, Speed and Maneuverability. The SF-22 is powered by ForcElast Technology which offers Unparalleled Performance and Efficiency previously unseen in a traditional blade fin. The Fins are manufactured with a Proprietary Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Compound Precisely Positioned in an Advanced Blade and Foot Pocket Structure. FoceElast delivers Superior Propulsion, Efficiency and Speed even with Moderate Power Input.

In addition to ForcElast Technology, the Solla features TUSA's patented 20? Angled Blade Design (A.B.D.), an Optimized 3-Channel Crescent Shaped Blade with Reinforced Side-Rails and Vents, a Multi-Compound Anatomic Foot Pocket and TUSA's Anatomic Fin Strap (A.F.S.) and EZ Buckle System. TUSA Open-Heel Fins are equipped with a newly designed Anatomic Fin Strap (AFS). The AFS is Anatomically Shaped to offer a Balance of Flexibility and Control to increase Comfort, Power Transfer and to significantly Reduce Heel Slippage found in many standard flat fin straps.

TUSA's EZ Strap and Buckle System allows fins to be Quickly and Easily Adjusted with Minimal Effort. Adjustment can be made while the fins are worn, allowing for a precise fit and ease of removal when necessary. I love this fin however, I have a size 7.5 foot and the foot pocket is HUGE...even with a 3mm bootie on. And I bought a small. Going to try the extra small and hopefully it will fit. Overall, the quality of the fin is excellent. It's not heavy either. So only complaint is the size issue.

My first set of fins. Not bad, but a little stiff for me. The straps are heavy duty and easy to clip on in the water. Simply loosen them up, clip them on and cinch them up.

After being in the water for about 45 minutes, you know you have them on, they start to seem heavier than they are.

I prefer the Mares Volo's, but these are a good all around utility fins. they get the job done without any frills.

    Comments about Tusa Solla Fins:

I bought this product as a Xmas gift for my stepson. It is his second set, and his first "pro" brand set (if we can call it that). He is only 14 years old, and we bought it only because it is GREEN, his favorite color... I know TUSA has been around for maybe 25+ years, but I never bought this brand before.
What a surprise...the fins feel AND perform equal to or better than my fins, and I have been a loyal customer to some other brand for years... Him?, he couldn't be happier and he tells me he does not feel that tired after diving. EXCELLENT PRODUCT, BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!!

          Comments about Tusa Solla Fins:

I bought these fins because my Xpert Zooms were not as effective as I needed them to be in currents. I was advised online by a very nice service representative that my correct size for a 6.5 women's foot would be a Small. I also bought the Tusa Small spring straps at the same time. When I received them, it turned out that the spring straps plus size Small fins weren't tight enough and the straps slipped. I ended up returning and ordering an XS fin which worked, but only after I procured Bare booties which are more substantial booties than the Neo Sport booties I had been using. So, long story short. Good fins but a pain in the patoot to get the configuration correct with the spring straps. If you are on the bubble on fin size and want spring straps, go down a size.
