About Tusa SAV-7 EVO Scooter DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle)

Free your hands with the TUSA SAV-7 EVO Scooter.
The SAV-7 EVO is TUSA's latest underwater vehicle. Improving upon the highly popular SAV-7, the EVO has several upgrades that make it THE scooter to dive.

Progressive acceleration system:
The EVO's newly design rotational speed adjustment function allows for precise changes to your speed while in motion. This easily activated speed adjustment results in smooth effortless riding and allow for easy synchronization of speed between divers in a variety of geographical areas and varied current conditions.

L.E.D. Battery Indicator:
When the main power switch is turned on, the L.E.D. battery life indicator lights up providing the diver with a guide to remaining battery life.

3 Speed Propeller:
Additionally, it's possible to easily vary the propeller's angle or pitch by 3 positions, which allows for even more fine-tuning of the scooter's speed to the individual diver's needs.

Saddle Wings:
By using the wings it's now possible to pull 2 more divers with the EVO scooter. The diver's different physiques when holding onto the wings have virtually no effect to the scooter's performance. The speed and distance with 3 men diving are almost the same as using the scooter solo without a saddle.

The EVO scooter ha 10% more torque the its predecessor the SAV-7, increased usage of 80-muintes run time on the lead battery. The EVO scooter has an increased cruising range of 12,000' to 14,000' (3,657.6 meters to 4,267.2 meters) and a maximum speed of up to 2.6 mph (4.2 km/h). The scooter is neutrally buoyant with a depth rating of 230' (70 meters). The scooter measures (L x W), 28.3" x 13.4" (720mm x 340mm), weighs 40 lbs (18 kg) on land with a durable ABS resin plastic body. The included charger has an input voltage rating of AC90 to 264 Volts 47 to 63Hz. The scooter comes with a comprehensive owner's manual of instruction for use and maintenance and is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.

Comments about Tusa Scooter DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle):

I got to use of these for my Advanced Cert. Rented unit from B & B Scuba(highly recommend). We went out of Ulua Beach in Maui. Got out to 2nd reef in less than 10 minutes. It took very little time to get the hang of it. Tried it with and without hands. Hands free was much faster. It was an epic experience that changed diving for me. I got to see more and stay down longer. The only knock is the fan housing is open in the back. Got my hand in there but no injury. Just a, "don't do that again". The pros definitely outway the one con. At times it fealt like flying. Don't forget to keep reg tightly in mouth. You get moving!

    Questions about this item:

Jim G  The in the box doesn't list a battery does this $2499 cost include a battery?
    Frank L  yes, it does.
scott g  How long will the battery last when in constant use? and why would i choose this one at 2.6mph over your older versions of 3 mph? I am trying to decide which one to purchase. I will be towing an 80 lb bag in the water.
DONALD F  The batteries will last ~45 mins. Constant use. Maybe a tad less at full speed. Which gets me to the speed part of your question. You don't want to cruise at full speed, believe it or not it's faster than you want to travel. I love my scooter and use it constantly. As for towing. Don't know, however I am over 250lbs. 6'2" and wear a drysuit and this thing hauls me around really well.
Kent-Roger W  Hi, In Norway we have 50Hz - 220 voltage on power supply, can i use charger/battery in Norway/Europe?
Marilyn S  Yes, this charger can be used under these conditions. Input 100-240V~1.0A (max), 50/60Hz, DC output +24V a.5A, Max Power 36.0W. Sweet scooter!
