So far loving the versatility of this! Currently using this on a alum 80/3000. Easily allows a solid conversion from DIN to yoke with a 5/16 Allen wrench. Now I can use the same tank for both my tech gear and rec gear! Thank you Sherwood for an awesome product. If I purchase another tank, I'll make sure that if it doesn't have a valve stem like this, I'll replace it with Sherwood's. Thank you LeisurePro for an awesome shopping experience. Always enjoy purchasing from this site and will contin...ue to in the future!
The Sherwood Scuba Diving Pro DIN/Yoke Valve has a standard yoke outlet with a spin-out threaded DIN adapter to accommodate 230 bars (3,300 psi). This Sherwood Valve exceeds CGA V9 Standards for Cylinder Valves for Compressed Gases. The valve is cycle tested at the Sherwood Factory 5,000 times to exceed all real time world applications assuring the user the highest in quality and dependability. The valve is engineered with high-flow characteristics to maximize regulator performance. The valve design allows for easy and comfortable cylinder handling. A slant back hand wheel allows easy access to operating the valve when regulator is mounted on the cylinder.
A positive hand wheel grip for easy identification of on/off direction and the valve is designed with proven and readily available replacement valve parts. The valve has a DOT approved burst disc assembly uses integrated disc and plug design. The yoke valve is service pressure rated for 3,000 psi (200 bars) and has been tested to 12,000 psi (828 bars) for safety. Sherwood Scuba Diving Pro DIN/Yoke Valve is manufactured from durable corrosion resistant marine grade chrome plated brass.
The heavy-duty valve mechanism is designed for smooth operation and the multi ported burst disc plug will prevent jetting air from tipping over a standing cylinder or creating a dangerous spinning cylinder in case of an over pressurization of the cylinder. Valve is standard (3/4"- 14 NPSM) threaded cylinder to valve inlet and has a high-capacity dip tube that prevents contaminants from reaching the air stream.

My 80cf Catalina's came with your Sherwood din/york vale. I notice a stamped number 19/08 on three and 19/04. Can you let me to know what does these stamps represent and why all where not the same? Thank you in advance.

I asked my dive shop "guy" - he says it is likely international dating system with day of month first; so three tanks inspected/cleared for sale and stamped on 19th day of eighth month - August. If this is the coding, then the other one is from a different batch made on April 19. (But my "guy" tells lots of Sea Stories, so this needs verifying.)
And that is one think I might check - Like , is it possible three of the valves have a different highest pressure rating than the other? Look for "Max psi" or "Max Bar" somewhere on the piece.
BTW - these valves are bullet-proof (assuming prior owner rinsed off with fresh water after salt dives). I have ALL Sherwood tank valves; two from 1970s still in use on my mini deco tanks I chain to anchor line. The issue with different tank valves is max pressure (older valves have lower max psi; modern valves have to accommodate bigger capacity tanks with higher pressure fills) -
All nine of my tanks have Sherwood valves. For my twin rig, it originally came with Aqualung oldies that I upgraded to current Sherwoods. Original tank valves from that rig are paperweights on my desk.)
My 5 Catalina tanks came with them, but I had to replace three generics from used tanks I acquired along the way - ALL pass inspections with flying colors every cycle)
Safe Diving!

I would like to order replacement o-rings for both sides of the screw in DIN adapter. Could someone provide the sizes for each o-ring?
Mario C
Thank you for your question. different manufacturers will have different size o-rings on their DIN adapter. With that said i need to know what brand and model valve you have. If in doubt fell free to bring it in or if not close to us visit your LDS and i am sure they will be able to properly assist you. In case the question is for the exact valve in the picture please answer it back and i will contact the manufacturer. Hope it helps
