About Sherwood 300 bar DIN Conversion Kit for Older Models

You started diving with yoke style cylinder valves, but you feel the higher cylinder pressure available with DIN cylinders will be an advantage to your style of diving. Well this kit will allow you to do just that, shed the yoke and increase bottom time with this 300 bar (4,350 psi) DIN conversion kit. The Kit is designed for the Older Model Sherwood First Stage Regulators.

Also, Scuba Divers who Travel Overseas will want to have a DIN Adapter in order to adapt to the tanks available at the local dive sites. The Adapter allows you to Easily-Convert your First Stage, if required, so you can use your own gear rather than rental gear! DIN Assembly is constructed from Marine Grade Corrosion Resistant Chromed Brass Higher Pressure will allow you to Extend-your-Bottom Time. Most HP Cylinders are made from Steel, so you can also remove some of the Weight from your Weight System due to the Lower-Buoyancy-Characteristics of the HP Cylinder. DIN Conversion Kit is covered by a 12 month limited warranty. Note: will not fit SR1 or New Sherwood First Stage Regulators.

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JOHN R  To enable my wife/dive buddy to use Sherwood Genesis 80 tanks.
Berrie v  Does this fit the SRB5300CE regulator and doesn't the DIN tank pressure of 300 bar damage the reg, as it is rated for only 232 bar ?
JERRY O  Don't know about the reg fit, but 300 bar is in the 4300 psi range, not sure anyone is running those kind of pressures on a scuba tank.
Shopper  how do you know which regulator uses this one ? How do you install the adapter
CRAIG M  These adapters are usually brand specific. As the listing says...this one fits older Sherwood regulators. A Scubapro adaptor may not work on other brands. Check with your regulator manufacturer for the adaptor you need and then source it where available.
