Fits great! One con that appears is people losing the weight pockets, the snap-in buckle is TIGHT so you have to make sure it is in all the way so as not to lose one. Trim weight pockets are great! Very slim and streamlined.

        Comments about Sherwood Axis Bcd:

Very good and reliable. Great weight pockets. I would love to have a handle of some sort on it to lift the thing more easily when atatched to air tank. Pockets are hard to access, especially under water. Deserves 4.5 star. The sizing seems to me somewhat generous. I should have boough an L instead of XL.

        Comments about Sherwood Axis Bcd:

Great all around BC. Lightweight, durable, and just what I needed. Only complaint would be that the tag ends of the shoulder adjustments and BC inflater hose are too long. The first is easy enough to fix. Even with these two minor complaints I give the BC a 5/5

            Comments about Sherwood Axis Bcd:

Great BC. Fits and adjusts nicely. Very streamline and comfortable. Like the other post states, check the inflator hose at the shoulder. Mine also came lose. Found it during my pre-dive check. Tightened it up and was fine. No room to hold anything more than a bc light and signal tube, but keeps the profile very tight. All in all, great BC.

Todd B  Does this have one or two tank straps? Is the inflator hose a problem like some of the reviews said? Is it easy to get used to? Going to Belize and may not get to try it before trip.
Michael C  The Axis has 1 cam band tank strap. Inflator hose should not be a problem. Back inflate BCDs have a very natural and trim style of swimming. Everything works exactly the same so it shouldn't be difficult to to get used to.
