Comments about Seasoft Seawolf Weight Harness:

I HAVE USED A DUI HARNESS FOR HUNDREDS OF DIVES. IT IS STILL USABLE, BUT FRAYED AROUND THE EDGES. THE VELCRO, SUPRISIINGLY, IS STILL IN GOOD CONDITION. I'VE NOW HAD THE SEAWOLF FOR 4 WEEKS AND ABOUT 10 DIVES. THE ADJUSTABILITY OF THE SEA WOLF HARNESS IS SUPERIOR TO THE DUI AND THE CHEST STRAP IS GREAT IN KEEPING THE HARNESS IN PLACE (DUI DOESN'T HAVE A CHEST STRAP). THE METAL BUCKLE IS STIFF ON THE SEAWOLF - I PREFER THE DELRIN OF THE DUI VERSION. I ALSO LIKE THE MULTIPLE AND SMALLER WEIGHT POCKETS OF THE DUI OVER THE SEAWOLF LARGE POCKETS. I THOUGHT THE ADDED SHOULDER CLIPS OF THE SEA WOLF WOULD GET IN THE WAY OF THE BCD CLIPS, BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE. SO FAR, I LIKE IT.

Comments about Seasoft Seawolf Weight Harness:

This is a very comfortable setup and I love being able to remove the weight poutches and hand them up to the boat before climbing back inside (inflatable). I had one of the handles on the weight poutches pull apart after just a half dozen dives. very poorly designed how they handles are sewn on. Ended up replacing the handles and with longer webbing and sewing them on to the inside seam. Besides that issue I have realy loved thos setup.

Comments about Seasoft Seawolf Weight Harness:

Very comfortable and well built, however I lost all my weight on the first dive because the quick ditch pockets are very loose on the bottom and the weights slipped out. I now use weight bags as liners and have had no problems.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

        Questions about this item:

Jim M  do you hae to use soft weights with this harness?
        WAYNE H  yes
Capt Dave G  need one for a dry suit but needs to handle 40lbs is there one?
TERY G  Capt Dave, I have the Seawolf Harness, and I have had to wear over 40lbs while using it with my drysuit during SARR operations to get on the bottom and be able to stay there. The harness will accommodate 30lbs of soft weights. I just went out to see how much weight I could possibly cram into it. It would only hold 34lbs of soft weight, MAX. I could barely get the zipper closed. It comes with two mesh bags with handles that you put your weight into and then stuff that in each of the side pouches. That way when you drop your weight your only looking for these two orange bags instead of individual weight. However, you can buy and add additional pockets to the harness waist strap to accommodate more weight or do as I have had to and just add the additional weight directly in your BC. That way, if god forbid, you have to dump your weight your not dumping all 40 lbs all at once. Hope this helps.
Shopper  Is this intended to be used under a BC?
LeisurePro S  Yes, this is designed to be worn under a BCD instead of integrated weights or a weight belt.
