Questions about this item:

Shopper  Hos long Time before battery is empty?
GEORGE A  I used this strobe for a night dive during my last trip to Cozumel, in November. It was only used for a few minutes as I was surfacing and waiting for the boat., so I really can't say how long the batteries will last. Note that strobes are an intermittent use item. They are meant for emergencies and for alerting a dive boat to your location. My wife has a similar strobe that we have used over the past several still has the original batteries and still flashes! My feeling is that you can probably flash it continuously for a day or so on one set of batteries...something that you will never need to do, so don't worry about battery life on this unit. One set of batteries should be good for a couple of years of occasional use.
Sherwood P  Do you know what the depth rating is?
Monica s  300ft
David C  Does this strobe float? How do you turn it on?
Monica s  It is negatively buoyant. Twist to turn on
