About Seasoft 5/3mm Ti Pro Edge Kevlar Glove

The SEASOFT Ti PRO EDGE Gloves are designed with Pre-Curved Fingers, the Warmest materials, Super Tough and Abrasion Resistant KEVLAR, 2-Layers of Titanium Flake Foil for Heat-Retention and with up to 60% Less Seams. The KEVLAR covers approximately 75% of the Surface-Area; this is more than Double the amount of Most Gloves. What is really amazing about these Gloves is that they have a Thinner Index Finger and Thumb than the rest of the Glove. Photographers, Underwater Hunters and everyone that wants more Dexterity-and-Comfort will love the SEASOFT Ti PRO EDGE Gloves. The 5 mm Ti PRO EDGE has a 3 mm Index Finger-and-Thumb.

When you dive with Gloves, Water Enters the Gloves and your Body-Heats-Up the Water and your Hands-Stay Warm. The SEASOFT Ti PRO EDGE Gloves minimize this Flushing-Action by Eliminating-the-Seam Across-the-Palms that other Gloves have. This does away with the Main-Avenue for this Flushing-Motion.

All Seams are Triple-Glued with Dry-Suit-Cement and are than Double Bond Stitched with Heavy-Duty Thread for Strength and Durability. The Gloves Wrist Straps are QUAD Reinforced and there is also an Internal-Backing inside the Glove to ensure that your SEASOFT Glove lasts and lasts! Comments about Seasoft 5/3mm Ti Pro Edge Kevlar Glove:

I ordered a pair of these glove with the intent of ordering a couple pairs if they were worth the price. I received this product from Leisure Pro in a timely manner as with all order from them. When I received the glove I tried them on to find that they fit true to the size. I dive year round in a commercial facet. I used these gloves as a thermal barrier to 50degree water with an abrasive protective glove over the SeaSoft gloves. The two out of three dives that I was able to use them on. They did do a great job of keeping my hands warm with minor dexterity loss in the index and thumb locations. On the third dive I noticed my right hand becoming cold. After the dive I noticed that stitching had pulled out at the distal part of the index finger. With Leisure Pro contacted and advising that this was a warranty issue that SeaSoft had to be dealt with. Contacted SeaSoft with them advising that they had been having a lot of problems with the stitching in this product. I was told that stitching issues had been fixed by marrying up with a different manufacture and I would be sent the gloves from the new manufacture. Sent my gloves to SeaSoft via a two day shipping label they had sent via email. After a week of not hearing back from them or receiving my new gloves I tired calling. After talking with three different people on the matter and told by two of them that they would call back after they spoke with the warehouse. When I didn't receive a call back from ether representative I returned the call. I was told in no uncertain terms that I had used the gloves more than three times and that they don't cover their products for commercial divers. Again I explained how the gloves were used with the representative in a passive aggressive manner telling me that I was lying. SeaSoft stated that they would ship the gloves that had still not been ship to me but that they do not warranty any product used for commercial diving which goes against what they have on there website. "We are very diligent in our engineering and testing of all our products to ensure they stand up to the demands of recreational and even for some products, commercial diving"(Found under Terms and Conditions) Due to the customer service received from SeaSoft and craftsmanship on a product that had been used three time I will never buy SeaSoft again.

I use these gloves to grab lobsters out of their dark hidey holes. The gloves are flexible and durable enough to stand up to the treatment. Carrying bag is nice.

Comments about Seasoft 5/3mm Ti Pro Edge Kevlar Glove:

I use these gloves while metal detecting on the beach and in the surf in the winter in SC. Water temperatures is about 50 degrees and air temperature has ranged from upper 30s to mid 60s each use. I have used the gloves twice now for about 4 hours each. Although my fingers still got cold, they did not feel like they were going to fall off, like when I wore my 3 mil gloves. The Kevlar is definitely a plus. They feel sturdy and I have expectations that they will last a long time. The gloves felt stiff at first but they seems to limber up as I used they.

Comments about Seasoft 5/3mm Ti Pro Edge Kevlar Glove:

The construction quality of these seems very good. There were no seams that bothered me and they were relatively easy to get on and off. However, they were unbearably uncomfortable to wear due to the design. For me, the neoprene in the area where the thumb intersects the palm is not shaped well. It caused my hand to start cramping within minutes. I realize everyone has different hand shapes, but I've never had a problem with gloves before in any style. These Seasoft Kevlar gloves were the first gloves that I've ever found uncomfortable purely due the shape of the glove.

        Q&A

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

        Questions about this item:

RALPH P  Does this product come with a warranty against defects, workmanship or unusually early deterioration?
Frank L  Seasoft has a limited warranty of 24 months. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover wear.
RALPH P  Hi Frank, Thanks for the reply to my question about the warranty. I received a pair of Seasoft 5/3mm Ti Pro Edge Kevlar Gloves for Christmas. They were shipped on 12/2/2013 and the order # was 6961094. I thought they were very sturdy gloves and expected them to last a long time. In fact I even responded to an inquiry from another consumer regarding the quality of the gloves and I gave them high marks. I had only used them a few times when I gave that rating, and was afraid I might have been premature with so little use time. As it turned out, after about 2 months of use 2 or 3 times a week, the seam between the thumb and index finger on the left hand began to split open. I am right handed and the right hand glove shows no sign of wear. I delayed responding to your reply about the 24 month warranty because I wanted to send a photo, which I now see this response tool does not allow. I would be happy to send a photo or whatever else you need to obtain a warranty replacement of the gloves or left glove only as you prefer. Please advise what I need to do to make that happen. Thanks, Ralph Peters
Dave R  how do I select the right size?
RALPH P  The web site has a size chart you download, and confirm the proper scale based on your printer and from there the steps are spelled out as to exactly what to do to get the correct size. It worked for me.
