About Seasoft Flashlight Large Pocket with Retractor
Imagine, you reach down, pull your light out and it is attached to a stainless steel line which is attached to a retractor in the bottom of the pocket. All SeaSoft Flashlight Pockets have a high tension (cable force 16 lbs./7.3 kg) steel retractor mounted behind the pocket with stainless steel cable. The cable runs thru-a-grommet that connects to a quick-release buckle with a stainless steel split ring that then connects to your light. Most divers' wear the SeaSoft Flashlight Pocket on the webbing that fits over the cummerbund of their BC, but it can be mounted anywhere. Pocket is made from durable nylon covered plastic material.

If I put a intova type light in this pocket, is the retractor strong enough to hold the light in place? I know there is a smaller version of this pocket. But want to see if I could just get the bigger one to accommodate a wider variety of lights

Yes, this will be plenty strong enough to hold an Intova light.

I can't speak to the light you mention, because we use ours with UK SL-4's. I remember thinking on several occasions that the retractor is a bit weak. If you mount the pocket upside down, so it is convenient to grab the light and pull it out, the retractor won't pull the light back into the pocket. I like mine on a shoulder D ring. My wife uses hers differently. When mounted open side up, the light always stays in the pocket, due to gravity.

It's pretty bright, but it's wide. The best thing about this is the price compared to what you're getting, really fantastic back up light.

This product is just a pocket with retractor for a UK light. The Uk SL4 eLed that is made to fit this pocket is 400 lumens.

By measuring my SL4 flashlight, it is roughly 5"x2.5"x1.75".

Although I cannot find the exact measurements of this pocket, it was made to fit UK (Underwater Kinetics) flashlight models: SL4, SL4 LED, and SL6 but will fit other similar sized flashlights such as the Intova LED Wide Beam flashlight.

Will this item work with a Tovatec Inova IS1 800 lumen light? If not, is there a similar product that will?

I do not know if the IS1 800 will fit, or how heavy it is which are the two main considerations. The pocket has worked very well with the UK SL4 which is a terrific light. It performs as claimed and always amazes considering its compact size. The light is more highly focused than some of the larger beams but is also thereby more penetrating and reaches much further in clear water.

Really a must have if you have the SL4 light, you always know where to find your light and when you are done, it retracts itself back into the pouch, no fumbling with clips to distract you. I wear it on every dive.
