Great Boots!

By Judy

The previous soft sole boots I had were too loose in my fins, that made finning quite inefficient because of the poor distribution of kicking effort, and I got cramps all the time. These Stealth boots filled the gaps up and for the first time, I was in control when swimming around in my fins. They lived up to the much anticipated hype.

Great Hard Sole Boots

By STEVEN M.

 -  Eugene, OR, US

Second pair of these. First pair finally wore out after many years of diving.

Seasoft's Sunray Booties are considered by the US Military, professional and recreational divers to be the very best. Cramps are an issue for most divers. Soft soled dive booties cause the foot to flex continuously inside the foot pocket of their fins causing cramps. Most divers think this is an inevitable price to pay to dive or snorkel, it's not! Seasoft uses a hard sole when manufacturing their boots. This eliminates the up-and-down motion of the foot inside the foot pocket of your fins that causes cramping.

All Seasoft boots have a hard sole that inside the fin foot pocket gives you complete control of your fins. Be more comfortable and faster because you use your thighs, calves and buttocks, the big muscle groups, to provide your power to move you through the water. By bypassing these small muscles, Seasoft booties use the large muscle groups to powerfully move you through the water. Seasoft booties have a money back guarantee - if you get cramps, Seasoft will send you another pair or you can return them. Seasoft has never had a diver return a pair! Another good reason to buy a Seasoft bootie: Divers can easily carry over a hundred pounds of gear; should you be wearing bedroom slippers or athletic footwear? The obvious answer, of course, is athletic footwear because an elevated heel and an arch support underneath the sole of your boot create stability and comfort. The elevated heel gives you the ability to safely carry your gear on sand, rocks and lava, or on wet docks and pitching boat decks. The arch support provides stability and supports the foot and ankle.

If you agree that athletic footwear is important, you should be wearing Seasoft diving booties. Seasoft's competitors look athletic from the outside but are not athletic where it counts, on the inside. If the heel is not raised, it's just a bedroom slipper! Seasoft diving booties utilize high-quality nylon-2 neoprene, a fin guard on the heel of the boot keeps your fin strap properly in place throughout the dive and the heavy-duty zipper is equipped with a zip-keeper. All seams are triple-glued with dry suit cement and are than double bond stitched with heavy-duty thread for strength and durability. The 6mm Stealth Boots utilize utilizes 2-layers of titanium flake foil lining for heat retention. So, join the US Military, Police, Sheriff and Fire Departments and tens of thousands of other divers in discovering just how warm, comfortable, safe and effective you can be in Seasoft booties. Boots are black in color and are available in multiple sizes.

Shopper  I have women's size 5 narrow feet. Have always used the, now discontinued, Pinnacle Barracuda model boots in size 5. Perfect for me. I have tried the new edition of the Pinnacle Barracuda boots - too flexible and wide for me. The 6mm Seasoft Stealth boot sounds like they would work. I need a snug fitting boot with hard soles and good lateral support that would prevent lateral slide when exiting the water. What do women who have used small sizes of the Seasoft Stealth 6mm boots think of the fit?
DENNIS M  I really can't speak to female aspect to the fit of the boot but as someone with bad feet and needing good arch support and a sole that will keep my feet from taking a beating, the Seasoft Stealth boot is the best I've tried in years. I would reccomend them to anyone. As a matter of fact, a fellow diver on one of the boat charters I dove with also had a pair and said they were the best he's worn in a long time, good stability and comfortable before, during, and after the dive. His daughter was also wearing a pair and said she really liked them though they were her first pair and had nothing to compare them to
JOSHUA A  That's not my size and I am a male, but they are a snug fitting boot.
KEVIN K  I'm not a woman, but I found the sole to give good support, unfortunately they were too narrow for me.
JENIFER C  I'm on my third or fourth pair - love 'em! Had a Seasoft dry suit and they were snug and gave sure-footing. Used them in tropics with my wetsuit for sure-footing on the boat deck and lava shorelines. Have no plans to use anything else - happy as a clam!
ron b  Stepping on a 'Stingray' is a big problem in Belmont Shore where I kitesurf. Is there a boot that is 'Stingray Proof' out there?
KEVIN K  I bought a pair if these boots thinking they would have better arch support than the cheeper pair I had. Unfortunately, these boots were much too narrow for my feet. Having said that, they do have a nice thick rubber sole. While the rubber does not go very high on the sides of the boots, they would have stopped the stinger of the last Ray I stepped on. The stinger hit me right in the arch of my foot. Good Luck
BRIAN T  The sole of the Stealth is very thick. (Think sneaker or workboot.) So I would imagine it would prevent the barb of a stingray from penetrating. The toe, top of the foot, and heel are thinner. I don't know if they would stop the barb. The sides and area around the shin are neoprene.
ARTHUR F  Ron, these boots are 5 or 6ml..but..I don't think they will stop the barb of a stingray...yes the soles and front part of the foot may be protected,,but I think the barb wii go thru the neopreme..try to "shuffell" your feet back and forth as you wade in the bay..that will usually tend to scatter the rays...bottom line.. don't step onto anything..move your feet side to side before placing a step... Hpoe this helps..
Vinnie D  I wear a size 10 running shoe, what size should I get?
EDWARD D  I wear a 10 1/2 shoe so I bought the Stealth Boot X-Large 11-12. The boots were a little large for me but still worked. What caught me off guard was that the boots are so "heavy-duty" that they were too large to fit my fins.
PATRICK N  They fit fairly true to form so a 10 will be a Large. I am 11.5 and use an XLG. My wife is just on the cusp (6.5 mens), and needed a size xsm/ 7. the one thing to know about these boots is that they are buoyant if you're not used to this thickness. I found them great for shore diving, and did my rescue cert in them. Rugged and easy. The "knob" on the back is also great for getting your strap just where it needs to be without riding up on the achilles tendon. If you're cooler water, get the high top, warmer water, get the Sunray.
MELINDA S  I wear a woman's size 10 shoe, running shoe in men's a size 8.5 to 9, depending on the shoe. I have very wide feet with a high arch. I purchased the Stealth boot in size medium 9, and this worked perfect for me, so you may want to go with the large size, or extra large if your feet are very wide or flat. I LOVE these boots! They are extremely comfortable and supportive, perfect for rocky shore diving, which is the diving I mostly do. The boot is a bit thick at the base, so it may fit snug in your current fin or not at all, so keep this in mind. Great thing about Leisure Pro is that if the boot does not fit, simply return it for another size. Love Leisure Pro!
ALAN H  I wear a size 10 (medium width) and purchased the size Large Seasoft boot. It fits well and is comfortable. No pinched toes but still has secure fit with zipper closure. It has a rugged sole and offers more support and protection than any dive boot I have owned.
Shopper  How thick are these?
LeisurePro S  These are 6mm boots.
Shopper  I wear a 9-9.5 in a men's shoe. What size would you recommend?
LeisurePro S  I would recommend the medium size 9.
