About Seasoft Sunray 3 mm Low Cut Boots with Zipper

SEASOFT's SUNRAY Booties are considered by the US Military, Professional and Recreational Divers to be the Very-Best. The SEASOFT Sunrays are a Warm Water Version of the Stealth Boots and will deliver the same performance but in a 3 mm Version with a Mid-Top Fit! And it has the same great arch support. Cramps are an issue for most divers. Soft-Soled Dive Booties cause the Foot to Flex-Continuously inside the Foot Pocket of their Fins Causing Cramps. Most divers think this is an inevitable price to pay to dive or snorkel, it's not! SEASOFT uses a Hard Sole when manufacturing their Boots. This eliminates the Up-and-Down Motion of the Foot inside the Foot Pocket of your Fins that causes Cramping.

All SEASOFT Boots have a Hard Sole that inside the Fin Foot Pocket gives you Complete-Control of your Fins. Be more Comfortable-and-Faster because you use your thighs, calves and buttocks, the big muscle groups, to provide your power to move you through the water. By bypassing these small muscles, SEASOFT Booties use the large muscle groups to powerfully move you through the water. SEASOFT Booties have a money back guarantee - if you get cramps, we will send you another pair or you can return them. We have never had a diver return a pair! Another good reason to buy a SEASOFT bootie: Divers can easily carry over a hundred pounds of gear; should you be wearing bedroom slippers OR athletic footwear? The obvious answer, of course, is athletic footwear because an Elevated Heel and an Arch Support underneath the Sole of your Boot create Stability and Comfort. The Elevated Heel gives you the ability to Safely-Carry your Gear on Sand, Rocks and Lava, or on Wet Docks and Pitching Boat Decks. The Arch Support provides Stability and Supports the Foot and Ankle.

If you agree that Athletic Footwear is Important, you should be Wearing SEASOFT Diving Booties. SEASOFT's competitors LOOK Athletic from the outside but are not athletic where it counts, on the inside. If the heel is not raised, it's just a bedroom slipper! SEASOFT Diving Booties Utilize High-Quality Nylon ll Neoprene, a Fin Guard on the Heel of the Boot keeps your Fin Strap properly in place throughout the dive and the Heavy Duty Zipper is equipped with a Zip-Keeper. All Seams are Glued-with-Dry-Suit-Cement and are than Stitched with Heavy-Duty Thread for Strength and Durability. The Sunray Boots utilize a Glide-Skin Lining for Easy On/Off. So join the US Military, Police, Sheriff and Fire Departments and tens of thousands of other divers in discovering just how Warm, Comfortable, Safe and Effective you can be in SEASOFT Booties. Boots are Black in color and are covered by a 24 month limited warranty.

Great, durable boot

Bought these boots for my wife and I for our trip to Bonaire with its rugged shore entries. Boots worked great, protected our feet from the sharp rocks along the shoreline, the soles are nice and thick for great protection. The inner boot is very comfortable as well, we snorkeled with them for hours at a time with no discomfort. They were even durable enough to to withstand the cave tour we went on, they were our only footwear we had at the time and we were even able to to exit the cave cl...

Quality is not there

I bought the boots before Bonaire and they're great for shore diving. However, they are so snug that I had to work hard to get the fins off which isn't that great when boat diving and people waiting to get on the boat. The worst part is that the velcro stitching is sewn right into the neoprene so that now I got large holes where they are stitched together. Do not buy these its a waste of money for poor workmanship.

Seasoft Sunray Booties A+

By

from Laurel Springs, NJ, US

Great True to fit for me at a 9 mens. little snug getting on and in My twin jet pros but maybe its me getting old. Cant wait to try them in turks and Caicos. thats the only reason I didn't give them a five is that I havent gone diving with them yet. BTW Leisurepro is the best! fast delivery and what a deal they gave me on the boots!!

Well construct tropic boot

By

from Lohman, MO, US

I was able to obtain a medium SS low cut from another e-tailer (sorry Leisure Pro). They had been on national back order and it really took some looking to find them. The search was well worth it. I used these in St. Lucia a month ago and was very pleased. The construction is iron clad. My fins were a pair of Atomic Aquatics blade fins and the boots feature both an extra layer of rubber over the top which makes open fins much more comfortable and a strap keeper. I wear a 9 shoe and these fit me "snug". Any shorter would have been too small and width was perfect as my foot runs on the narrow side of medium. These were just what I was looking for tropical dives and after walking on rocky shores and up and down long stairways hauling gear to the dive shop they still came home looking like new. Definitely a great addition to my gear cache!

Nice dive booties!

By

from 36106, AL, US

The size chart is true to fit. The quality & construction looks very good. I plan to use these booties for shore diving entries in Bonaire. I suspect they will hold up quite well.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
BRIAN G  Old boots, tread was gone, These are great in and out of water over 100 dives since Jan 2013
JENNY H  Returned these. They are ridiculously too wide for most fins my size. I wish SOMEONE would make a good hard sole boot that is more narrow, specifically for women's feet!
Ryan B  I wanted low-cut, hard-soled boots that were specified as "men's." I have wide feet. 3mm thickness is fine for me because I don't get cold easily.
Michael B  This is my 3rd pair of Seasoft Sunrays in 12 years. My first pair simply wore out. The second pair I inadvertently purchased the wrong size, and after using them on one dive trip realized my error. Regardless, buy at least two sizes smaller-I take a narrow Women's size 7 (US sizing) and need the XXS 4-5 (US sizing) in this product . BTW-If shore diving in Bonaire for instance, these boots are not only excellent but a necessity !
DIGITAL B  Easy to put on, tough rugged soles and warm.
ERNEST S  These are not the first set of boots I bought, but they are the most comfortable that I own. They are well worth the price.
BILL S  nice boot but had to upgrade fin to accommodate
GARY M  I love the fin locks on the back.
JOHN J  I use these low-cut boots for snorkeling. Sturdy construction, good for walking over rocks and rubble on coastline of Bonaire.
LINDA C  Great for warm water diving and entering/exiting rocky dive sites.
JAMES S  tough boot for hiking in Bonaire's reef system entries.
BOB R  I was getting foot and calf cramps with my old boots. These have an insole support that helps eleviate the problem. Very comfortable.
PATRICIA M  I wear a womens 8.5 wide shoe. Should I go with the xs or small boot?
WENDY V  I wear a women's 7-7.5 N to medium and own the 2xs ... fits great but on snug side so no slipping and toe is at very end of boot. I would go with the small ... but these guys are great with customer service and exchanges so if the size isn't right it should be no problem to return the unused boot for a better size
Marshall M  I have a pair of shorty hard sole Scuba Max (with arch support) and Mares soft sole size 9 that both fit (my left toe is right at the front of the boot though on the Mares with plenty of room on the right foot as it's 3/4" shorter than the left) . There's no heal protection on the these shorties, so the fin straps can pinch and dig into my heal at times. I recently purchased a pair of Seac 6mm Super-Stretch Zipper hard sole size 10 thinking I might need more room for the left foot in a sturdier boot) When they arrived, my left for was 3/4" from the toe and my right obviously was swimming :-) The Seac;s are very high full size boot with a similar sole as these Seasoft Sunrays. While they looked like they would have arch support, the inside to my disappointment was actually quite flat (my Scuba Max Shorties have more arch support). So my 2 questions are: Do Seasoft Sunrays actually have a raised arch support on the inside? Since my US running shoe is size 9.5 for the left foot and 8.5-9 for the right, which size do you think will work best for me? Some people in the reviews say they have a normal fit, while quite a few say they are a little on the large size? Also more than one person has complained about their foot moving around a lot when on the surface )some people actually returned the boot for this reason). Most of my diving will be in warm water in Asia and lots of shore rock diving, so these 3mm boots seems cooler, have a low cut compared to the Seac for easier on and off. My fins are "regular" size Mares Quattros for current and Hollis medium/large F-2's for travel (foot pocket is similar with the F-2's being slightly wider). I'm leaning towards the size 9 Seasoft Sunrays because of the complaints the foot moves around too much and the my right foot is actually a size 8.5-9 so it may be swimming in there, like it did on the Seac size 10. . What size do you recommend and do you think they will fit my fins?
Monica s  Hello, This is a very nice boot, they actually do have arch support not just a beefy sole and flat inside, these are very comfy for majority of people that try them on I would do a size 9 for you based on your description and they will fit the regular mares and ML hollis f2's just fine. Enjoy
