Comments about Wenoka "Big Squeeze" Lock Titanium Knife, Tanto Tip:

I've used the knife only once thus far on a dive, but found it to exceed my requirements and thus is perfect. The grip works well with gloves (3 mil), the clasps that hold it in place appear to function well and seem that they would "wear" well. Overall, a great product.

Comments about Wenoka "Big Squeeze" Lock Titanium Knife, Tanto Tip:

I use this knife for spear hunting regularly. When I initially bought the knife I started off by securing the knife knife on my leg. It always got in the way of my dominant side, normally the side i place my click reel and fish stringer. Once I moved it to my non dominant forearm it was all good. I suggest Zip tieing the straps as close to the sheath as possible. It really is the solution. The knife itself is the absolute best i've researched and used. The blunt tip allows for scallop removal with ease. Cutting myself free from kelp is very convenient in a hitch with it strapped to your forearm. FYI, for beginners, underwater knives are meant to not be the sharpest in the word for safety.

Comments about Wenoka "Big Squeeze" Lock Titanium Knife, Tanto Tip:

I have used this knife from Honduras to the Saint Lawrence River and many places in between. the straps have never come loose even after a year of diving. The knife handles fantastically and stays secure in the sheath. At first the leg straps seem bad but with a few dives and some use they work just fine.

Comments about Wenoka "Big Squeeze" Lock Titanium Knife, Tanto Tip:

Due to the loose and uncomfortable straps, the knife is hard to lock into the holster and keep within easy reach. Had it around my calf.

Knife actually fall out and another diver found it. The locking mechanism is great but requires you to "snap" the knife into it, hard to do while the straps are all over the place.

buy the knife and replace the straps

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
VLAD S  I wanted a tanto tip knife ever since I saw the XS Scuba (Ocean Master at the time) Titanium Beta Tanto. I chose the Aqualung because it was much more reasonably priced and the shape of the blade was a bit less aggressive, a sort of hybrid of a regular tanto and blunt tip, less likely to puncture anything.
Todd E  Is the TONTO tip sharp or is it dull like a BLUNT tip? Does the Big Squeeze exist as a "titanium BLUNT tip?" or do I have to buy the TONTO blade and then make it dull on my own? (so I don't stab myself)
Steve S  The tanto edge is flat, but sharp.
          Shopper  is this double bladed?
BRUCE P  The one I received was not.
