Trying to use the buttons without a pen or pencil to push on them with is a pain. The protective cover is in the way and you can only get the edge of a finger on the button which means you have to press very hard. They should move the buttons to the side. I have used it for 12 dives now and am not happy with it at all. I will be trading it in for a different computer the next time I go to my dive shop. I am 5' 6" tall and have small hands and it is just a bad design.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Gekko" Air/Nitrox Wrist Computer, White:

I narrowed my search down to the Mares Nemo Wide and the Gekko. I think that I made the right decision. This computer is less expensive and has all the functions of the Nemo Wide that your typical diver would require. I think that I saw a Nemo Wide on a diver last week in the D.R. and it looked huge on her wrist!
I just wish that this had a compass built in.

I live on the Riviera Maya (Yucatan Caribe). Most in our regular diving party (7 of 12 people)owns the Gekko. It is reliable, relatively simple, durable, and basic. It is without a doubt the best value for the buck!
