I'm so happy to be able to see while swimming!! Like most goggles, these can fog up a little -- a little smear of toothpaste does the job, however. The fit is great (no leaks, no need to constantly adjust, just put them on and go).

Great for swimmers with poor vision

It is great to be able to see when swimming. However, the lenses started to fog up after only 3 uses even though I followed the care instructions.

Pros

  • Lens Quality
  • Range of Vision
  • Snug Fit

Cons

  • Fogs Easily

Best Uses

  • Pool
  • Recreation

Comments about Speedo Vanquisher Optical Goggles:

Though it does not break, it feels less sturdy compared to the regular swim goggles. Maybe it's got something to do with the interchangeable nose bridge. Feels flimsy at times. I can live with that. However after 3-4 uses, this fogs easily. I am glad there are remedies available for the fog.

Modify goggle for wave running

Pros

    Cons

    Best Uses

    • Recreation

Comments about Speedo Vanquisher Optical Goggles:

I wanted an inexpensive corrective lens goggle for driving a wave runner. I repeatedly cleaned the goggles with tooth paste, but fogging remained a problem. I modified the goggles by drilling six air "breathing" holes into the sides of each eye lens. Fogging problem fixed. Be sure to use new drilling bits, and use a fine bit as the start hole. I used four different size bits to carefully enlarge each air hole.
