Comments about SOG Seal Team Fixed Blade Knife:

The product rusted almost immediately after my first salt water dive. The rust was not minor and I stopped using the knife for diving. The sheath is not ideal for diving and lacks good underwater retention systems. I replaced the sheath with another sheath that could be used in my drysuit.

The knife stays incredibly sharp and is capable of killing or cutting whatever you need. If I dove predominately fresh, I might keep it as a fresh water knife.

Comments about SOG Seal Team Fixed Blade Knife:

This blade does not rust, great for repeated rock scraping and oyster opening. Sheath is highly durable. Edge stays sharp, but you will need to sharpen if you abuse it like I have. Long knife with comfortable handdle and the tip is stronger than any other knife I have ever used. i HAVE HAD THIS KNIFE SINCE 1999
