Pros

  • Light good design

Cons

  • Back - Stroke

Best Uses

  • Longer Trip

I use this Paddle for Kayaking Rivers. I am happy with it's lightweight, strength and adaptability (the offset position of the blades is changeable). This is an inexpensive alternative to some of the $180+ paddles out there. It is a longer shaft, which helps me with leverage and tracking (as I have a longer boat). The curvature of the blade is great for the forward stroke as well as NO INTERFERENCE as you lift the blade out of the water. That same curvature somewhat inhibits the back-stroke. Nevertheless this is my "go-to" paddle when I go river-running. My buddy uses one of these for canoeing, we both really like this paddle.
