About SeaLife Buoyancy Control Weight SL965

Does it bother you when you have your Sealife Camera attached to its wrist lanyard and when you release it to adjust your gear it wants to float in front of you getting in the way? Don't try and lay it down on the bottom or it may just float away! The 13 oz (368.5 g), rubber-armored Buoyancy Control Weight reduces positive buoyancy of SeaLife underwater cameras and flashes allowing for easy, balanced underwater handling. Weight attaches to the accessory mount under all SeaLife underwater cameras and flashes using the mounting knobs. 3 mounting knobs are included for a variety of configurations.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Steven R  will keep the camera when attached to your wrist neutrally bouyant so when you let go of the camera it doesn't float up in front of your mask.
Shopper  Will this product create to much bouyancy if only using the camera and no flashes? If so, do I need to worry about the positive bouyancy of just the camera?
Abraham L  I bought this because the flash has a very high bouyancy. The camera itself (DC1400) is positive, but i wouldn't use with the camera only.
