I would buy this product again

Make sure to re-seal the package or they go bad quick in the tropics.

A must have for Sealife cameras

They work great and are a must have if you own Sealife equipment. However they don't last long once you open the package and some that where shipped started to change color in package before I even had a chance to open and use.

Munchers Last All Day

By

The SL911 Moisture Munchers lasted all day with several dives. The case was opened and closed several times for service and the same muncher remained blue and the case/lens stayed dry and clear until the next days dive.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
REX S  This product is a good safety net for any moisture that may enter your Sealife camera. Please keep in mind that this is no replacement for making sure the Seal is clean and free of Nicks or cuts.
ANTHONY K  need to go with sealife camera
ROBERT C  for my sealife camera(which I don't use anymore).
DWAYNE D  Needed for my underwater camera
STEVEN S  for camera housing
NOEL R  Needed for camera.
JON B  keep camera dry
KATHERINE N  Use in your camera case to keep condensation off lens. You need to keep the double sealed in two zip-lock bags after you open the package or they won't last long and will turn pink showing they are used up.
ART R  Needed to keep my camera dry between the cool condo and the humid boat.
ELLEN J  Use in my Sealife underwater camera.
RICHARD N  Sealife camera....mositure will build-up in the camera as well as the flash...these will offset the build-up for at least a few dives over concurrent dive days.
RONDA P  Good price
Shopper  Does this capsules fit the DC2000?
Gerry F  Yes
DARCY I  I have a SeaLife 1400 and they fit. I dont know about the DC2000. You can check with SeaLife on their website.
Shopper  Do I need to remove the thin plastic film that covers the capsule first or I can just place the capsule with the thin plastic covered right in the slot?
Steve S  The capsules are ready to go as is. You just remove the capsule from the bag and put it in your camera housing.
JEROME P  Dear Shopper, The moisture muncher capsules you bought are filled with crystals that absorb moisture from the air, and as they do so will lose their blue color and become pink-ish, indicating they are no longer capable of absorbing any more moisture. They are sealed in a plastic film to prevent their exposure to atmospheric moisture before they're purchased. It's important that you remove that film just prior to placing them in the camera housing or they will stay nice and blue, but not be doing anything for you! Just be careful in removing the film so that you don't damage the capsule itself, and let the crystals leak out into your housing. The capsules are pretty robust and it shouldn't be too hard to get the film off. I hope this helps. Good luck with your underwater photography! Jerry
RON B  The capsule goes into the slot as is. In other words, the blue crystal stay inside the capsule in the same way that you don't break open the capsule medicine that comes in capsule form. Hopefully, this answers your question.
