Should I buy this set up for my dc600 camera or just get the go- pro 3 silver edition ?
I'm using this set up with my SeaLife ReefMaster and love the results. Very easy to use and versatile. I've used each, and both for photos and get different results and like that versatility. The video 2000 light is brighter than any dive light I've ever used and it's wide angle lights up the subjects on video very well.
I'm so happy with this package that I've now ordered the DC1400 Reef Edition to have more camera options. It's due to arrive in 2 days and I can't wait to use this new camera with the light package.
You know, Just got back from Bonaire and my 1st trial. I DO need help in learning to shoot better, especially taking into account ambient light. The color temp is warmer than any other lighting system I researched (5700K) & I though that could be trouble. But the shots that came out worked really well. So I think I will really like this system. I don't know how it would work with a DC600, I have the 1400. I strongly considered the GoPro 3 black, and now that the 4 will be released, I would strongly consider that with a good lighting system. I know that you would not go wrong...sorry if this wasn't as helpful as you would have liked -- Peter
