Most Liked Positive Review

Probably not for skinny people

I am 5'10 and skinny (140lbs). The M was too loose for me and I suspect that the size small is too short (but didn't try it on). The suit seemed good and the zips on the cuffs and ankles made donning and doffing easy. It has a nice price tag and if it fit better I would have kept it.

Nice wetsuit, great value

By

This is a very easy to don and remove wetsuit. Stitching seems very good and it has zippered ankles and wrists. It is also fairly warm for the chilly Southern California waters.

I love the fit of the suit and the warmth that it provides. If you bought one, good for you. For the price it was a steal!

Great for the money

By

from Breckenridge, CO, US

I work as a guide/ instructor. 5' 10" 175 lbs. Size L Fits well, sleeves are a little long. Warm and comfortable. After 250 or so dives it's compacted down to about a 5mm. About normal compaction. Great buy for the money

Great Support

By

from New Baden, IL, US

Ordered the XL, but it was to tight in the chest and couldn't get it closed. I was able to exchange it within a week before my scheduled dive. Great support in getting this done quickly. The sleeves are a little long now but I was able to roll them inside and secure them with the zippers. I may look into getting the sleeves tailored, but over all the suit performed well and keep me warm in 53°F water temp.

Scubapro OneFlex Steamer 7mm Wetsuit 2014 model

By

from Oxnard, CA, US

I'm a 62 year old commercial diver and have owned many suits. I frequently buy from Leisure Pro due to their excellent service. I'm 6' 1" 220+ with a 50" chest, 41" around the waist and thin legs. I normally squeeze into an XL suit and have 4 different brands of suits. I was looking for a cheap suit and these were on sale for $179. Checking Scubapro's size chart I decided to try the XXL. The size is a pretty good fit from the waist up. Little extra material around my skinny legs but I'm happy. The suit is well made, heavy zippers and well constructed seams. For a back zippered suit it's warm. I frequently use surface supplied air to work so do not have the pressure of a scuba tank pushing against my spine to slow the water movement. After the initial water rush through the zipper it warms fairly quick. I'm underwater about 6 hours a day when doing yacht maintenance and the suit has been good. My second Scubapro suit see if it lasts like the other.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JASON G  I needed a 7mm wetsuit and this one was on sail for 179.95
Ryan M  Where are these made?
JASON G  Cambodia
Tracy H  Hi, Is this a good suit for beginners?
JON M  If you are going into cold water, you need protection...this suit is a great option unless you want to go drysuit. This suit has zippers at all 4 limbs, which allow alot easier on and off.
DWIGHT R  Frankly I would opt for a higher quality suit. The suit was a real chore to get on and was pretty restrictive. It might help to go up one size. I would go with a Henderson or similar grade.
RAUL B  Absolutely, specifically for cold weather
STUART P  This is a great suit. Pretty true to fit/size. I even bought a 5mm I liked it so much. Great purchase.
LARRY C  Hello, Yes this is a good suit for beginners. I've been certified for 2 years and I dive in this suit all over the world. Locally, I dive at Lake Phoenix in VA and in November I still stay warm at 60'. In July I was in Canada Wreck Diving and certifying on Rec2 diving with Nitrox at 100'-stayed warm and had an excellent time!! Even in sunny Florida I stayed comfortable-just had to add more weight because this suit is boyant in saltwater. Price is affordable and holds up well and is durable!
DONATAS D  It's an awesome suite For the money
THOMAS P  I returned it zipper broke and got a 7mm Henderson
AARON S  As good as any. It's warm.
DAVID J  Suit is warm, easy to put in, and durable. Any suit is good for a beginner, but this one is good because it will last a long time.
