WARNING: Only ALKALINE batteries can be used with this light. Never mix different battery types in the same device and replace all batteries at the same time as they get empty. If the dive light is not used please remove the batteries to avoid malfunctions. Incorrectly installed or discharging batteries can produce gas which could lead to explosion of the light. Comments about Scubapro Nova Light 230:

The bulb died in my Nova 230, and it isn't replaceable, so my expensive light is useless and in the garbage now. Scubapro tech support gave me the runaround and failed to inform me the bulb isn't replaceable after several emails and a visit to a local dealer who played middleman to break the news. I definitely do not recommend this light to anyone.

Comments about Scubapro Nova Light 230:

Not a good primary light for the NorthEast/cold water. Light is slippery with heavy gloves on. The lanyard is not usuable (clips too small), and adding your own clip is very difficult - will need to purchase a clamp to be able to put a clip large enough to use with heavy gloves.

Light seems pretty sturdy, and would be a great backup with the modifications above. It's not really powerful enough for NE wreck diving.

This light is smaller than the floodlights usually used for primary light. It has a very strong beam and is easy to use.

Comments about Scubapro Nova Light 230:

I actually purchased this light from my LDS. This light is extremely bright! I did 2 cavern dives down to 90ft and it performed flawlessly. Also, this light appears very well made and rugged. Get this light, you won't be disappointed!
