This company is 100% professional. I bought several things from there and I was always satisfied. Shipping fast but sometimes arrived a little bit later because the usps. My last order was a socks and I didnt get it. The item disappeared somewhere in CA. I called them and they sent me another one next morning without any question. I was in shock. I will buy everything from them in the future. Thx

Sizing problem, Quality Fair

I was not crazy about the construction. The size was off. I ordered one size larger than I take but could not get them on. Do yourself a favor and get the 5mm XSPAN socks. They are thicker, much better made and to boot they are cheaper. Go Figure!

Great investment for those of you who have a closet full of different fins!

Wonderful replacement for dive boots. Especially in the Caribbean. I bought a similar product at a local Jamaican resort and they were only good for a few days. Scuba Pro dive socks are EXCELLENT even if you are not a SP fan.

Nice socks, but size issue

By

from New Hope, PA, US

Nicely constructed socks, but I'm returning them for a larger size; then we'll use them and finish this review. Socks came in a nice but simple drawstring mesh bag (13"x16") - a nice bonus. The tag has a size chart which differs from the Men's/Womens's LeisurePro size chart. For ScubaPro US unisex, XS=6, S=7, M=8 L=9, XL=10, 2XL=11, if this helps.

Just ok

These are just ok. After the second dive with them the seem came apart about 1/4" long. Still usable since they're just socks. Other then that they work.

Great, Durable, Warm

By

Used these at Worlds Toughest Mudder in New Jersey in November 2012. They kept my feet warm for 4 laps of the obstacle course (40 miles and 128 obstacles) before I began to feel the cold. Water temp in 30's and air temp in 40's during day, 20's to low 30's at night. They held up so well physically I'll be using the same pair again this year.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Jack d  could not find a retailer that carries this item any longer, even in the Florida keys. I bought something similar at Divers Direct in Key West, but they were baggie and filled with water like a balloon when diving.
Rick H  want something I can walk on a somewhat grassy beach and in the water and in my kayak. Occasional pebble or rough grass/weedy soil and will hold up. Where a size 14/15 shoe, is this what I need?
BOB T  Might work, or you could buy a pair of sandals that fit when wearing the Scuba Pro Hydra socks and throw them in you Yak.
FAREED H  Its good for your planned usage.
Steve S  Yes, these would e perfect for that. I would recommend the 14 for your size. If for some reason it does not fit wel, please call customer service at 800-637-6880 and ask to exchange through the PFF Guarantee.
Sandra H  Can these be used with open back fins (Apollo), spring straps and tropical diving? Hard, tennis shoe soles on most booties make it hard to get my fins on and off quickly.
ROGER P  Yes, but with smaller fin size than with boots. Also, a standard fin strap will work better, as a heavy spring strap will probably start to make a wear spot on the heel.
FRANKIE C  The sock is not designed for open heel fin, rather for full sole fin. I use my sock for full sole fin to over come the problem of slippery cause by bare fool after fin is off. However, I believe if your open heel fin pocket is fit enough to really wrap around your feet with sock on, it might work. Or you can buy one of those tropical booties with thin sole.
THOMAS T  I guess they can, I used my pair once and never again. They are uncomfortable and hard to put on, especially on a boat. By the way, I tried 3 different sizes... I would suggest getting a different brand, and thicker neoprene.
