About Scuba Pro Twin Jet Open Heel Split Fins

Like the Tail-Fin of a Humpback Whale, SCUBAPRO's Twin Jet Fins use a Split-Hydrofoil Shape to deliver more Forward Motion with Less Effort. Result: more Power with Less Effort and Drag. This Fin style offers you the ability to move Quickly-and-Effortlessly without Sacrificing Control while Swimming at Depth. Of the four colors, the black fins are the most rigid and offer a more traditional fin experience.

Of the Three Colors, the Black Fins are the most Rigid and offer a more traditional fin experience. The Black Fins are slightly negatively buoyant. The Blue Fins model is made of a more buoyant and flexible compound than the black models. This allows you to achieve the most Bang-for-your-Kicking Buck. These fins are slightly positively buoyant. The Yellow Fin option is made of a compound similar to the Blue model, but offers the greatest opportunity for you to be seen underwater. The Yellow fins are slightly positively buoyant.

The Patented Split-Fin Propeller Technology and the Drag-Reducing Vents Reduce your Effort and Fatigue Levels. The Split Fin design Reduces-the-Amount of Resistance Felt on your Joints, which is a Big-Perk for Divers who have Knee and Hip Problems. The Split also means you'll use Less Force-to-Propel yourself though the Water. To make it even Easier to Move through the Water, Scuba Pro's Engineers Added Vents between the Foot Pocket and the Blade to help the Water Move-Around the Fins with each Kick Cycle drag will be a thing of the past once you put on these fins and hit the water.

Great fin

You really can book in these fins. I don't get leg fatigue or cramps. I purchased the optional coil fin straps (took me 2 trys to get the right size), but well worth it. If you stick with the strap that comes with the fin, buy the spare fin strap set. Always good to have those around. My fins brand-new out of the box were "oily." Made gripping the fin strap to tighten a little difficult. But that oiliness "washes off" in about 3-4 dives. Stick with the black. They're a sturdier mater...

My favorite fins

I had this fins for more than 5 years and did around 200 dives using them. I read that a lot of people been complaining about them so in order to make honest review I have to mention that I am 6 feet 210 lb man. Those my favorite fins because I can trust them in the roughest conditions. I use them for shore diving with strong current . In col and worm water. In fresh water and in a salt water. I like them.

Can't Be Beat

My instructor uses split fins in open water, and I wanted to try a pair for myself. I ordered a pair of twin jets for my advanced course, and I am happy I did. The power with the proper kick is great. I am able to move through the water with ease and minimal effort. I purchased the fins in high-vis yellows and they match my mask and my dive buddies always see my with no problem.

I wouldn't buy if I had known...

My husband and I both have these. He loves them but is still planning to purchase a different fin also. His blue is not high vis. I have the yellow which is extremely high vis. The fins are very wide. They are more buoyant than other fins so I had to purchase ankle weights to help streamline myself. They are stiffer than other split fin brands like atomic aquatics. If you realize the current is heavy in a specific area no matter how you kick you will at best stay in place. These do not do well in those situations but in low or no current situations they are very light underwater and easy on the legs. I think we will keep them as a backup pair but not for our primary use.

Great fins if you have large feet

These fins are great, they have been durable, I have been using them about 1.5 years, and are holding up very well. This may sound unusual, but I have large feet and these fit me fine. I think it is the way you feet can stick out of the open toe area. Anyway, I love these fins for scuba diving.

Great fins!

I love these fins! Great for a boost of speed when you need it, no leg cramping, easy on & off, flexible.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Asa P  These fins definitely kick butt! Been diving for over 32 years and these are the best!
CHRISTOPHER M  Manufacture reputation
JAMES G  For recreational diving just around the reef, best all-around fins I have ever used.
VALERIANO B  Top of the bill. Excellent in construction, very friendly with your hips, if you dive everyday. With strong currents you have to fight a bit more, but remember your hips...
JAMES R  For its perfomance in the water. JR
DOROTHY C  I tried someone else's and found I had great propulsion. I also added the spring heel straps.
JAN B  One set for me and one set for my daughter and scuba buddy.
JAN B  One set for me and one set for my daughter and scuba buddy.
GARY H  Best comfortable and yet effective fins I have used and I have tried many.
k g  what size would i buy if i wear a 9.5 mens shoe?
ARYEH K  Hi, wear 10 and have Large fins, I think they are OK for me but barely, I would have got Medium so I assume you should use Medium probably.
WILLIAM S  I wear a 9.5 shoe also. The med fins work great with dive boots. My son has a 11 shoe. I got him a the large fins. These are the best fins ever. You get super power and can out swim anyone.
EDWIN R  The shoe size is less important than his body size and weight. Normally I would recommend a large. Also, there are different colors and with each color comes a different amount of flexibility. (yellow is the most flexible). One of the best things you can do for yourself is replace the standard strap with a spring strap made for whatever size fin you purchase. You won't be sorry.
Shopper  the price is for the pair?
Frank L  Yes.
