About Scuba Pro Twin Jet Max Open Heel Split Fins

Like the Tail-Fin of a Humpback Whale, SCUBAPRO's Twin Jet Fins use a Split-Hydrofoil Shape to deliver more Forward Motion with Less Effort. Result: more Power with Less Effort and Drag. This Fin style offers you the ability to move Quickly-and-Effortlessly without Sacrificing Control while Swimming at Depth. Of the four colors, the black fins are the most rigid and offer a more traditional fin experience.

Of the Three Colors, the Black Fins are the most Rigid and offer a more traditional fin experience. The Black Fins are slightly negatively buoyant. The Blue Fins model is made of a more buoyant and flexible compound than the black models. This allows you to achieve the most Bang-for-your-Kicking Buck. These fins are slightly positively buoyant. The Yellow Fin option is made of a compound similar to the Blue model, but offers the greatest opportunity for you to be seen underwater. The Yellow fins are slightly positively buoyant.

The Patented Split-Fin Propeller Technology and the Drag-Reducing Vents Reduce your Effort and Fatigue Levels. The Split Fin design Reduces-the-Amount of Resistance Felt on your Joints, which is a Big-Perk for Divers who have Knee and Hip Problems. The Split also means you'll use Less Force-to-Propel yourself though the Water. To make it even Easier to Move through the Water, Scuba Pro's Engineers Added Vents between the Foot Pocket and the Blade to help the Water Move-Around the Fins with each Kick Cycle drag will be a thing of the past once you put on these fins and hit the water.

The Scuba Pro Twin Jet Fins are an Open Heeled Fin with a Comfortable Foot Pocket. The Foot Pocket is Extra Wide so the Fins are Ideal for Wearing with Dry or Semi-Dry Suits. The Foot Pockets have Easy to Adjust Fin Straps with a Large Pull Tab and Squeeze-Style" Quick-Release Buckles for Quick and Easy Donning and Doffing. Spring straps, Yes or No!

Isn't advertized with spring straps but came with them. Problem is I also ordered spring straps. Was told I had to pay to ship spring straps back even though I explained I wouldn't have ordered them if the fins showed they came with them. Was told I just got lucky getting the fins with springs already. Poor customer service.

Not a good fin

Propulsion is about.the worst I have ever owned. They run very large and do not give good propulsion. I wear 10.5 EEE and large was huge with 5mm boots.

Great fins if you have problems with leg cramps

from Pittsburg, KS, US

I put about 1100 dives on a XL pair before the center support broke out on both fins. Great fins if stiffer fins give you leg cramps or you have knee problems. Only negative is if cavern diving using bended knee cave kick manuvering is not quite as good because of split center design. I had Twin Jet before these and loved them but when I did some dry suit diving the XL would not fit over suit boots. So bought the Twin Jet Max because the XL pocket was large enough. So like has been said, sizing runs somewhat larger than some fins. When these finally gave up and broke being satisfied with Scuba Pro fins bought the Gorilla fins to give them a try. Big mistake. Like a 1x12 board bolted to your foot. For an athletic young man who likes to swim a half mile every dive they are probably the cats meow. Wish I had went with another set of Twin Jet Max because I'm an over weight 62 year old man that is lazy, but still manages to get over 200 dives a year in.

Scuba Pro Twin Jet Max

very good, but a little expensive, should sell spring straps and fins as a ''UNIT"

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
CHRISTOPHER L  Great fins, but I highly recommend that you try them on at a local shop to make sure that you know the appropriate size...then order them from LP and save some $
STEVEN S  needed new fins
ADAM W  Split fin decreases exertion, allowing for air conservation and longer dive times. Comfortable and solid.
TERRY F  Purchased for my Father in Law. You cant go worng split fins.
STEVE C  its scubapro and i have the twin jet full foot fins but spend the extra money for the spring heel straps my wife did not at first now she has them also
PAUL R  These are really nice fins unless you have to swim in strong current. Everybody gets excellent service at LeisurePro. The best dive store in the USA! Paul PADI REscue Diver
Shopper  do these come with spring straps if not do you carry these for an additional cost?
Samantha S  How does the size compare to the Seawing Nova? I wear a women's 7-7.5, delta 5 mil XS boot and found the Nova too snug. My feet go numb during a dive. Unfortunately the med Nova seems to come up too far on my foot and is not comfortable to try on but haven't dove in it.
Frank L  I would try the size small and see how those fit. Unless you have a very thick sole, I do not think you would need the medium.
