This wetsuit is great. As usual with Scubapro, the quality is there. It is really warm, and water entry is really limited. The heliospan patch on the chest feels really comfortable, and will keep you extra-warm.
A small plastic hoop is available on the right hip so you can attach your hood if needed (I haven't used this feature yet).
A great design feature is the fact that the back zipper is not perfectly vertical, but instead slightly inclined towards the left. This allows to not have a potential small water entry directly on the spine. More importantly, they used the freed space on the spine, where the zipper would normally be, to add a padded heliospan panel. This improves even more the warm feeling, and the comfort, especially when in complete SCUBA attire.

This is more than definitely worth the price. I consider it to be a really good deal.

I still have to try it with the hood.

On a side note, the picture on LeisurePro's website is not totally up-to-date (as of 10/23/2013), but they are definitely sending the last design (pics of which are available on the manufacturer's website).

tried 2 different sizes of this wetsuit after chatting with Leisure Pro rep... 2XL was a fit in arms and legs (I'm 6'1" 250LBS with a 46" chest and 40" waist) but the torso was too small... so I tried the 3XL and the arms and legs were 6" or so too long and it had a good deal of excess space in the suit... In general I really like ScubaPro however they only make a few sizes of these and if you don't fit neatly into the category listed (i.e. 10lbs less than rating) I'd look to another suit).

Comments about Scubapro EverFlex Steamer 7/5mm Men's Wetsuit, Black/Gray:

Scuba pro really knows how to make things for divers. The suit has a hook for your hood/gloves or whatever, it has two key pockets, one on the leg the other on the back zipper. Absolutely great comfort, very warm and little leaking. Ankle zippers are good to have as well as the iSafe bands on the wrists for wristband accessories. I wear an X-Large, I'm 190 lbs 6'0 with long arms and legs. Fit was great.

However, two problems. The zipper is very difficult/impossible to pull up on your own. It gets caught on the glideskin seal. And the velcro flap at the top of the zipper does not secure very well to the neck. Mine has come loose a few times. These are manageble problems for the price. I would def buy it again even knowing what I know now.

                Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JASON S  Solid construction, tight seals. Very little water exchange.
w l  I not sure if this will fit me in a medium. I am 5 foot 9 inches, around 175ish pounds, 40 inch chest, 32.5-34 inch waist (varies alot), muscular legs and arms. It seems I am between a medium and a large?
AARON J  I'm 5' 9" 185 lbs and the large fits just right for me. If I were you, I would go with the large. Hope that helps.
Shopper  I do most of my diving in Monterey Bay, Catalina and the Channel Islands, how warm is the 7/5 with built hood for fifty something degree water? I'm diving with an old Body Glove X2 Dive right now. Thanks!
JEFF S  I dive this suit in cape cod (last dive was 44 degrees), but I use a second suit that is a hoodie spring suit on top of it. Pretty toasty except the extremities with that set up. The 7/5 itself is quite warm. Last time we did a double dip - 27 mins on the first dive and 24 mins on the second and we were cold, but OK on both. I weigh 145 lbs - I get cold pretty easily. Hope that helps.
