Comments about ScubaMax Scuba Max Snorkel Vest:

MY first experience snorkeling would have been a disappointment without this product. Using my vest to keep me afloat, I was able to concentrate on all the underwater beauty without any worries.

          Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Patti R  we like to snorkel and not crazy about the ones they rent this one looks a lot more comfortable cant waitbtomtry it out
JD K  What is the maximum chest size for an extra large vest?
KEVIN F  The manufacturer gives no exact fit specifications. However, I measured it as best I could and it looks to accommodate a chest size of up to about 56".
UVALDO C  i'm considering buying this vest by spring for snorkeling but i've not decided on this scubamax vest, the scubapro vest or the leisurepro vest... my concern is that i want to make sure that either model will allow me to fully descend into deeper water if i open the purge valve and expel all the air? --i'd hate to be fighting the vest to dive deeper... thanx.
JOHN H  I bought the ScubaMax vest and my son used it extensively for a snorkel trip. If you expel all the air, there is nothing that will keep you buoyant so you should be fine to dive. It might be a bit difficult to get every bit of air out while swimming since the air bladder is around the entire vest. It's easier to take it off and fold the vest to compress the air and vent. For what its worth, it is a good vest, but a bit pricey. Happy travels!
