About Subgear Gauge Console
Sub Gear's Console is a convenient 3-gauge console with depth gauge, pressure gauge, and compass. Gauges have highly luminous dials for easy-reference in low light or night diving conditions. The pressure gauge has readout from 0 to 400 bars with Pressure indicators for 50 and 100 to 400 bars in 50 bar increments. The 0 to 50 bars section is color coded red indicating reserve air for added safety. The Gauge is spiral mechanism design.
The Depth Gauge has a readout of 0 to 60 meters with numerical depth readings of 3 meter increments from 0 to 15 meters and 5 meter increments from 15 to 60 meters. The depth indicators are in red from 3 meters to 6 meters. Gauge Face Background is Red from 40 meters to 60 meters indicating depths beyond the sport diving limits. Depth Gauge is equipped with a maximum depth indicator that will follow the depth-needle to the deepest depth reached on the dive and then will remain there to indicate maximum depth. This feature is great for logging your dives. The Depth Gauge is also equipped with a temperature gauge with readout from -10°C to 60°C.
Many divers take compasses for granted, considering them just an accessory to an overall dive gauge console system. Trying to navigate with a poorly designed or improperly functioning compass can be one of diving's more frustrating events. The Sub Gear FS-1.5 Compass design is an oil filled compass with a list of features as functional and convenient as every instrument that bears the Sub Gear name.
The Sub Gear compass is actually a dual-purpose instrument. The convenient side window allows quick reference of large, easy-to-read bearing indicators on a luminescent display for gun-sight accuracy. Or, for divers who prefer relative navigation, the ratchet bezel can be rotated-easily even with thick neoprene gloves. The compass bezel has compass headings in 30° degrees numbered-increments and indicator-marks for every 10° degrees. Bezel has twin-heading indicators for alignment of compass course and a lubber line across the compass face. Dual-reading display is easy-to-follow even while swimming in a horizontal position. All 3 gauges are incased in a durable rubber boot with multiple-attachment points for a clips, lanyards or retractor. The Sub Gear console is equipped with a high pressure swivel hose with standard 7/16" threaded end and is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.
