hi, i see that you sell the handle for this bracket i was wondering if the bracket and the handle are adjustable and will the bracket fit 80 cf to 100 + cf stainless tanks also do the brackets have a locking mechanism to stay in place?
Not sure what you are calling the handle.
This product is really made up of 3 pieces.
All pieces are sold separately.
1. The aluminum rail
2. The plastic adjustable bracket
3. Small plastic and aluminum locking mechanisms
The rail comes in lengths of 48 inches and can be cut to any length.
You can adjust the width of the bracket to fit almost
any tank; however, you most likely will have to use the next widest adjustment than what the manufacturer recommends.
You will need at least two small plastic locking mechanisms, one on the left and one on the right.
You could get by with one if your railing is blocked by the side of your boat or other structure.
Make sure you get the bracket that folds down when not in use.
The adjustable brackets will fit any tank size.....I carry both 80s and 120s in my rack.....best money you can spend. when not diving I just slide the tank holders out...
I purchased 10 of these roll control brackets for my 21 ft. Parker boat with the aluminum track. They are an excellent product. The brackets slide along the track to accommodate the spacing between tanks. The brackets themselves can be adjusted to fit many different tank diameters. Divers on my boat use AL 80, HP100 Steel, and HP 120 Steel with not problems. When the brackets are raised to a horizontal position, it locks them in place along the track. Very sturdy. Been using these for 3 years now with not problems. Although I would recommend the use of a bungee with the brackets, when adjusted for the diameter of the tank, it's almost not necessary
