Powerful Light!

By Greg

First delivery was prompt, but previously opened, missing instruction paperwork, and not working. I feel Leisure Pro went out of their way to make it right! I had no less than 10 emails from Cathy and Joyce keeping me appraised of the replacement. New light arrived and works great. Strongly recommend and thank Leisure Pro for excellent service!

Great primary light

By Terry K.

Quick delivery though I had to wait for one in yellow.

The Nemo 4300 is the ultimate dive light. The 4300 has an unbreakable ABS body with thermoplastic over molded accents and polycarbonate lens. It uses a clever magnetic switch that operates outside of the body to prevent leaking. The switch can be easily removed for washing off sand and dirt. Pelican's unique battery compartment design allows for optimal space utilization and negative buoyancy. A spare Xenon lamp is included and stored underneath the reflector. The 4300 is a 12-Volt light submersible to 330' (100 meters) and powered by 8 C alkaline cells (not included).

The Nemo 4300's hi-intensity Xenon lamp produces 175 lumens of brightness with a burn time of 6 hours on a new set of batteries. The light has a pistol grip handle with a rubber sleeved adjustable wrist lanyard. Light measures 7.5" (19 cm) long and weighs 36.6 oz. (1.04 kg) with batteries. The light has a stainless steel phosphor bronze contact spring retainer, thermoplastic rubber (TRP) shroud, and ethylene propylene O-ring seal. The light pre-focused laser spot beam has a 470' (143 meter) beam length on land. Located inside the flashlight are catalyst pellets which are present to absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be emitted by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged batteries. Light is available in multiple color choices, and comes with an instruction sheet.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  how do you get 8 c batteries in this?
MICHAEL Z  Lens cover of the housing unscrews. It has a well designed battery holder that allows batteries to be stacked and held in place. Good lumens, but drawback is size of unit. If size is not an issue (i.e. Tech Diving), it's a good light.
JEREMIAH D  Slide the entire battery pack unit out of the casing. There are a couple slots on the underside for more batteries. Enjoy!
MICHAEL G  Unscrew the lense housing from the light handle. There is a container for the batteries inside.
DONALD G  You simply remove the battery module. Remove and replace the six batteries inside the module by following the red arrows. The last two are attached to the rear of the module. Once again following the red arrows.
SEAN S  Easy, 6 in the front and 2 sideways in the back. just look at the holder, just put a battery everywhere you see the little + and - symbol. There is a picture that shows it on the pelican website.
MATTHEW T  I have purchased one of these and they are great! my question is where can I get an "O-ring" for the lens cover?
TUAN P  Replacement part according to the manual is: 4301 Lens O-ring I could not find an easy place that sells this part. I would contact Pelican directly. Usually for an o-ring they may consider this a warranty item. Never hurts to ask! www|pelican|com|support|contact.php Let us know how it turns out.
DERRICK S  needed one a while back went to the local hydraulic store . found it in yellow pages they had a wide variety of O-rings in stock
Shopper  How many Lumens is this light rated at?
LeisurePro S  This light is rated at 276 lumens.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Terry K  I had a King Pelican for many years but due to an injury (not dive related) I had to stop diving. I failed to remove the batteries from my light and they corroded ruining the light. This is my preferred replacement as the King Pelican is no longer available (?).
MICHAEL W  Good price and features.
