I just got back from a trip where I used the Pinnacle Escape 5 mm short sleeve shorty men’s wetsuit. I like it very much. It is easy to get on and off. I do not need someone to help me with a zipper up the back as is the case with most wetsuits. It fits me well. I am 250 lbs, 6’4” tall, 45 inch waist, and 48 inch chest. I ordered the 4XL size and it was the right size. The wetsuit was tall enough for me. I always have a camera with me. I was worried that if the suit was not tall enou...gh, it would make my arms tired as I struggled to get the camera out in front of me. That was not the case. Sometimes, when getting into the wetsuit, I would start the zipper before I tried to get into it. This way, it would be sort of like stepping into a pair of shorts. I would often unzip the zipper a little and put a bottle of defog against my chest for easy access. I would never have done that with a zipper in the back. I have not one single complaint about the suit. I recommend it.
The Escape Women's 5mm Step-In Jacket is an extremely versatile part of any diver's thermal protection package. Worn alone, it is an excellent 5mm shorty, suitable to tropical and temperate water diving or pool training. Layered over a jumpsuit of any thickness from a Spandex skin to a 7mm suit, it becomes half of an excellent two-piece suit system. The Escape 5mm Step-In Jacket, is made from 5mm titanium lined nylon 2 neoprene throughout the entire suit. A full-length diagonal front zipper that opens completely at the right thigh and comes with a locking plastic zipper slide to prevent unintended opening. All seams are double glued and blind stitched and with reinforcing stress disks at all seam intersections for added strength and durability. For added durability the suit has an extremely abrasion-resistant exterior lining. This all black step-in jacket is available in wide range of sizes.

hard to predict as the measurements are not even with the chart. I think the M is a good starting point even though the waist is considerably smaller as for the height it would put her on the 2xs...

My daughter tried a wet suit of a different brand. Her measurements are as follows height 4’9”, weight 130 lbs, chest 39”, waist 36”, hip 39”. Will medium size fit her? Thanks.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes they do fit snuggly, an extra large is probably a good idea. The middle is were they seem to be tightest.

The size chart seems right. I don’t know what size I ordered. I did have to return one because it was too tight. I was hoping it would help me look better. No such chance. Tight is not good and not really necessary to be that snug for the waters where you use this. Just keeps you from getting too cold.

I normally wear a small but I ordered a medium. I’m glad I went up a size. The jacket fits great. Also, the end of the zipper tends to dig into my leg a bit, so I have been wearing a thin skin underneath.

It’s more about fitting your thighs because that’s where the zipper starts. Once you get to the tummy there is enough stretch to fit most.

These suits fit pretty much to size, most important is the body length measurement.

These shorty suits fit pretty much to size. The main thing is making sure the body length is the correct one for you. If you have larger shoulders, I recommend the larger size.

I am 133 and wear the small. I'm 5'7". If I were you, I'd order both and send back the one that doesn't fit. They need to be very very tight to work.
