Nice belt, very comfortable.

I dive in very cold water and have to wear a lot of weight (28 lbs.). This belt is very comfortable, doesn't shift when I'm wearing it, doesn't leave bruises on my hip bones, and distributes the weight more evenly...

Comfortable belt

This belt is great in most aspects. I really like the D-rings The only problem I've experienced is that the pocket flaps are rather thin. I discovered a 3/4" tear in mine after only one dive. Otherwise, the overall construction feels very sturdy. Nice stainless steel clip.

Best weight belt quility

By

from Dallas, TX, US

I use my weight belts on a daily basis. Most or garbage and very poorly made and quickly fall apart. This belt is extremely well made. Most shops will not carry this quality due to price most likely. It is worth every penny because it will outwear 3 of the other belts.

Watch out for the sharp buckle!

By

This would be a 5-star belt, except for the metal buckle that has a very sharp edge along the back of the front lever. After diving with this new belt and letting it drop out of my left hand as I took it off my waist, this thing sliced right into my ring finger very deeply. Give the buckle a good sanding when you pull it out of the box and learn from my mistake!

good but not excellent

Buckle is pretty though and made of steel not a foil, pockets are securely closed and anti-slipping strip works fine. The only thing- I wish the strap could be not so soft

Great belt!

By

Just used this on a week of diving in Jamaica and it performed flawlessly. It is comfortable and easily holds any weights you need to place in it. If it is tough getting the weights in or out, just take the belt off or loosen it, but I was able to load and unload while wearing. Perfect belt for travel when using the resort weights. My wife and I didn't have to fight for the right size belt on the boat and set it up every day. We were usually the first to be geared up and relaxed because of the belt. I did notice some wear (not really fraying) around the belt where the buckle secured, but nothing alarming or serious. The D rings are great and held my camera and light with no issues. They were out of the way, but easily accessible when needed. I also attached my knife to the belt. Great buy. Best belt out there IMO.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
curtis j  i am a commercial diver with back problems i hope this will help
ALAN C  My wife found this very comfortable on her hips to eliminate brusing from solid weight blocks. She perferred this to the integrated weight system. Belt pockets kept weight where she wanted them, no sliding around.
ROGER M  This belt is convenient and comfortable. But the flaps that cover your wht.pockets just are not durable.
EARL T  A gift to a friend, and now I wish I had bought it for me.
BARBARA S  Bought one for each for a husband and wife team, now our kids want them too. Very comfortable and easy to load weights when changing suits and protections on the fly.
Shopper  Please let me know before ordering Pinnacle comfo belt.I wear size 30"waist .which should I buy 4or 5 pockets belts?
STEFAN S  I guess it would depend on how much weight you need to carry, but I'm guessing that with a 30" waist, not a lot. I have a 36" waist AHEM uh er I mean a 34" waist and carry a lot of weight, so I have the 5 pocket. One annoying aspect of the belt is that my tank kinda rides on the belt, and, because its the 5 pocket, the tank rides on the center pocket a lot. So much so that I've had to reinforce the center pocket flap because it was getting so beat up. SO, long answer short, I"d say go for the 4 pocket, and hopefully the tank will ride between the back two and not be a nuisance. I hope this helps.
VIC W  Use 5 pockets then it allows you to use even or odd number of pockets for weight distribution. The five pocket will fit a 30 inch waist
VIC W  5 pockets. It'll fit and you have flexibility on weight distribution ... whether to use even or odd number of pockets
SCOTT G  Not sure
Frank L  If you are going to be wearing a thick wetsuit, go with the 5 pocket. If not, I would recommend the 4 pocket.
Shopper  What belt/pocket size would be best for a 38"-40" waistline and 3mm wetsuit?
ROLLIN E  My waist is about that size. I typically dive in a skin, or a 3mm shorty. I use a 6 pocket belt, and have plenty of slack in the belt. My suggestion is that you order 5 and 6 pocket belts and try them on with your wetsuit. Leisure Pro has a great "wrong size" return policy-take advantage! Note the belt is slightly buoyant, so you might need an extra pound of weight when using. Hope this helps!
Kasia W  Size 5 which fits 30" to 45" waist lengths will work best.
RALPH W  Size 5 was fine. With 5 pockets, there are ample choices for weights. I'm still enjoying my belt. Ralph W
TOM G  I have a 38" waist. I ordered a 5 pocket, large belt. There was plenty of belt length. In fact, I cut off about 3 inches from the tip. I would not go 6 pockets! It worked perfect for me.
JACK V  The Pinnacle Comfo belt is true to it's name. The padding on the inside of the pockets is very comfortable, and the belt is very well made. I especially liked that it doesn't slip at any depth. The belt is a little bigger than I thought it would be. I have a size 36 waist and use a 3 mm suit also. I bought the 6 pocket which is okay for me, but think I would have been better off with the 5 pocket instead. It sounds like the 6 would be good for you. There is plenty of adjustment in the belt. Hope this helps. Good Luck! Jack
