I bought this weight belt with great hopes after all the positive reviews but found that I had a hard time getting it tight enough out of the water with a 5 mil wetsuit on - however, after retightening at depth, it doesn't slip and is comfortable to wear.

    Comments about Pinnacle Comfo Belt:

Just used this on a week of diving in Jamaica and it performed flawlessly. It is comfortable and easily holds any weights you need to place in it. If it is tough getting the weights in or out, just take the belt off or loosen it, but I was able to load and unload while wearing. Perfect belt for travel when using the resort weights. My wife and I didn't have to fight for the right size belt on the boat and set it up every day. We were usually the first to be geared up and relaxed because of the belt. I did notice some wear (not really fraying) around the belt where the buckle secured, but nothing alarming or serious. The D rings are great and held my camera and light with no issues. They were out of the way, but easily accessible when needed. I also attached my knife to the belt. Great buy. Best belt out there IMO.

      Comments about Pinnacle Comfo Belt:

Bought this to load with 25lbs of XS Scuba shot weight. Belt worked as planned. I did have to turn the buckle around for a right hand release. Also the belt spun around on me the first time I used it, causing the release buckle to end up behind me. After readjusting tightness, has not been an issue.

        Comments about Pinnacle Comfo Belt:

I bought this weight belt for pool training. I'm doing my dive master course and normally use a weight integrated system but this is not best system for demonstrating skills in open water courses. I can do all the weight related skills more easily than with a traditional weight belt, add or subtract weight in seconds and easily carry extra weights to give to students. Also it is very comfortable to wear.

          Comments about Pinnacle Comfo Belt:

Easier for boat entry than having everything in the integrated BCD. Also easier for the boat crew to load and unload equipment when I wear the weights rather than have a fully loaded BCD.

            Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
curtis j  i am a commercial diver with back problems i hope this will help
Shopper  What belt/pocket size would be best for a 38"-40" waistline and 3mm wetsuit?
ROLLIN E  My waist is about that size. I typically dive in a skin, or a 3mm shorty. I use a 6 pocket belt, and have plenty of slack in the belt. My suggestion is that you order 5 and 6 pocket belts and try them on with your wetsuit. Leisure Pro has a great "wrong size" return policy-take advantage! Note the belt is slightly buoyant, so you might need an extra pound of weight when using. Hope this helps!
k w  they are marked in the six=ze categoryas 4, 5, 6, 7, what does that mean? how many pockets?
Glenn P  Yes, it means how many pockets. Their are 4 different adjustable sizes: - 4 weight pockets: 25" to 40" waist lengths - 5 weight pockets: 30" to 45" waist lengths - 6 weight pockets: 35" to 50" waist lengths - 7 weight pockets: 40" to 55" waist lengths Note: Waist lengths include diver's thermal protection system
