About Pinnacle Cruiser Men's 7mm Jumpsuit

The Cruiser provides a means to enjoy many of the features and benefits of Pinnacle's higher end suits while still maintaining a budget. The Cruiser incorporates many design aspects that are superior to those found in other suits costing more than twice the price. This 7mm wetsuit has titanium lined nylon 2 neoprene throughout the suit. Advanced stretch neoprene is elastic enough to make donning simple, yet resilient enough to provide tremendous warmth.

Suit comes equipped with a 10mm thick spine pad that protects the back and reduces internal water movement for a warmer dive every time. Comfort and warmth are also increased with the rolled neck with Velcro closure. If durability is what you are looking for the Pinnacle 7mm Cruiser has heavy-duty rough-skin kneepads for this critical wear area, molded rubber shoulder pads that protect diver and suit and help keep BCD in position. All seams are double glued and blind stitched with reinforcing stress disks at all seam intersections for added strength.

Suit has a back zipper with pull tab leash, 8" (20.3 cm) gusseted ankle zippers both for easy self-donning and doffing and all zippers come equipped with a plastic slider. Smooth skin neck, ankle, wrist and spine seals lock cold water out and seal body-heated water inside the suit. This all black sleek suit is available in wide range of sizes, so there's a Pinnacle 7mm suit that will fit you!

Good wetsuit for the money

Have not had a chance to use it. But was told exactly what I was getting. After trying to find the right one a sale person on the phone suggested this one.

Good fit for me, but I am on the small end of the size chart

By

from Afton, MN, US

Great fit and warmth, when used with a hooded vest, almost not water moved thru the upper torso. I purchased a ML based on the sizing chart. I was on the lower end of weight scale and average for height/chest/hip/waist measurements, and it was a perfect fit (snug for the first 10 dives). Great value.

Wonderful suit

Fits perfectly. Used it in 45 degree waters and stayed nice and warm. Only part I dislike is the Velcro sticking to the suit in the neck area. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new wet suit.

Great suit for price.

Great suit for the price! Used it on 4 dives now in cold pacific and stayed very comfortable. It's a bit too big but that's my fault. The size chart is exactly as advertised.

Great suit

Awesome product. I used it this past weekend for my open water certification. I was not cold at all 60 ft down in 52 degree water. I could have stayed down there all day and been fine. I recommend getting one size larger. According to the size chart I should have been in a M/L Tall. After reading other reviews I went with the Large Tall and it fit me perfectly.

Good dive gear

By

from Walla walla , WA, US

Equal or better than bare velocity. Possibly better made higher quality materials. Still early in my experience but exceptionally good so far. Neck is a bit tight out of the water. In the water it's not noticeable. Back zip flap is thick and impressive! As are the zippers and wrist and ankle seals. I would 100% buy this again.

Questions & Answers Powered by TurnTo®

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
MICHAEL B  Works and wears just fine. True to size.
WILLIAM G  The Merino liner was the draw for me with this item.
CHAD R  great suit in any temp
BRIAN B  To replace my free diving suit. It fits well and allows ample movement. I would buy it again.
Lance B  Are there zippers on the arms, and legs?
Thomas F  Just on the legs.
JUAN T  Zippers on the legs, not on the arms.
F L  Only on the legs
ERIC D  Legs only
HAYE J  The suit does not have zippers on arms or legs
Ronald N  I have a Pinnacle Elite with a heavy spine flap on the zipper. I like the suit but the flap makes it almost impossible to zip without asking for help to tuck it in. My question is how easy is the Pinnacle Cruiser 7 to zip by yourself?
DAVID V  Yep, same flap. Great suit, but I do need my buddy to give me a zip. Otherwise, the zipper eats the neoprene on the flap.
RALPH S  I still have to have my dive partner tuck in the flap. Something about the middle section of my back it seems to "stall out".
DAVID B  Difficult, but possible. The zipper tends to get caught in the spline. I have found this to be the case with nearly every suit I own and I have broken zippers attempting it alone. It is a good suit that will last without the stress on the zipper. Get someone to help you and save the aggravation. Hope this helped.
IGOR A  Yep, that seems to be the problem with 7 mm suit at the budget price. I have to ask my body for help or try to move my shoulder blades together in a tricky effort to close the zipper. But after all it does not bother me much, because it is a heavy cold water suit. My very old 7 mm Akona suit did not have that problem, since they used thinner flap.
TERRY F  the cruiser has the same spine pad, but since diving should not be a solo sport asking your buddy for help is just part if the dive experance. T. Favorite P.A.D.I. MSDT 196550
