I purchased this suit for cold water diving in New England.
I've been diving in water as cold as 60 degrees so far and I have not been cold at all. I have felt the thermocline, but suit is thick enough (even at 5mm) to warm back up and not feel enough cold to turn a diver away.
Don't buy this suit if your going to dive in water colder than 50 degrees (winter diving in new England) and/or are timid about cold water.
Best things about the suit:
- Very thick pad between back zipper and divers... back
- Comfortable velcro neck wrap doesn't allow water exchange
- Knee pads are thick and rough (better than most suits)
- Suit ankle area has zippers for easy donning
Overall a good cold water suit. You have to wear it a couple of times to break it in, but after that it fits like a glove. True to sizing. I Recommended it to a few dive buddies. You won't regret getting this as your first 7mm suit. While everyone else is shivering i'm nice and warm.
The Cruiser provides a means to enjoy many of the features and benefits of Pinnacle's higher end suits while still maintaining a budget. The Cruiser incorporates many design aspects that are superior to those found in other suits costing more than twice the price. This 3mm wetsuit has titanium lined nylon 2 neoprene throughout the suit. Advanced stretch neoprene is elastic enough to make donning simple, yet resilient enough to provide tremendous warmth.
Suit comes equipped with a 5mm thick spine pad that protects the back and reduces internal water movement for a warmer dive every time. Comfort and warmth are also increased with the rolled neck with hook and loop closure. If durability is what you are looking for the Pinnacle 3mm Cruiser has heavy-duty rough-skin kneepads for this critical wear area, molded rubber shoulder pads that protect diver and suit and help keep BCD in position. All seams are double glued and blind stitched with reinforcing stress disks at all seam intersections for added strength.
Suit has a back zipper with pull tab leash for easy self-donning and doffing and the zipper come equipped with a plastic slider. Smooth skin neck, ankle, wrist and spine seals lock cold water out and seal body-heated water inside the suit. This all black sleek suit is available in multiple wide range of sizes, so there's a Pinnacle 3mm suit that will fit you!

I'm 5'10", between 185-190 and 43/44" chest. Chart would seem to say a Large/Short but from what I've read, the suits run small. Should I go XL/Short?
CRAIG M
I am 5'10" and 230 lbs. and went with a 2XL short. Fits like a second skin, and quality is great. I think an XL short would fit you fine.

Would I get a little more room in the top section in the king 1 verse the king 2?

Yes over all the run small than sizing.

I bought a large tall size. I'm 6'4" and 190 pounds, so I'm thin. It fits very well. It is a high quality suit and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I will probably buy another pinnacle the next time I need a suit. Not sure what king 1 or king 2 is, but I hope this helps.

These suits seem to be made to fit as advertised. I am 5'7" and around 275 lbs. I purchased the 2XX Large/Short 3mm and a 7mm and both suits fit like a glove maybe a little long in length but I love them

Look under "features & specs" for complete size specifications. I have a medium size 3 mm Pinnacle suit, so I know nothing of the King1 & King2. I do like my suit. CaribJim

I had to return the Pinnacle suit as it did not fit me and chose a BARE suit instead. Hence, I regret that I am unable to answer the question.

I'm an average size male. I average 190 pound on any given day and this suit fits great. I have had no issues with this suit and would buy it again.

I have a 7mm Pinnacle wetsuit with Merino lining. It is a King 2 size. I have lost about 40 pounds and the suit still feels like it fits me well. I need a 3mm wetsuit and am considering the Cruiser. I am 6 foot tall, 195 pounds with a 34 inch waist. What size would you recommend in this suit?

I took my measurements and then ordered this suit using Pinnacle's sizing chart. Had to return it and get the next bigger size, which fits snugly (but is a hair short in th torso length.). (I'm 5'9", chest - 50, waist 46, weight 250lb.
