Bought for DiveMaster course. However, I'll be sharing it with others.
When we do our taxes we always have a calculator handy. Don't leave your dive safety to plastic tables and pencil and slate, use a calculator! Get ready for easy, electronic multilevel dive planning with the arrival of the new eRDPML. Like its predecessor, the eRDP, the eRDPML is not a dive computer, but an electronic dive table that allows you to plan single depth and multilevel dives. While the first generation eRDP provided the same information as the table version of the Recreational Dive Planner (RDP), the eRDPML provides similar information as The Wheel ½ in an electronic format.
The Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) eRDPML allows you make 3 or more single depth repetitive or 3 consecutive multi-level repetitive dives in a day with the ease of a digital calculating table system. Once you open the eRDPML protective lid you will find basic instructions and safety rules for use. The water resistant keypad allows you to plan dives in imperial or metric (feet/meters) units of measure and have audible sounds for key strokes and warnings. The eRDPML runs on one user replaceable 3.0V, CR2032 lithium battery. Typical battery life is one year with an average use of 10 minutes per day. If the display dims, it indicates that you should replace the batteries in the compartment on the back of the eRDPML. Comes with an owner's manual.

what type of batteries does this unit take? User replaceable?
Thank You
Keith K
Yes the ERDP-ML has a user- changeable battery. Simply open the door on the back of the unit with the edge of a coin. The battery is a very common one (flat, about the size of a quater) readily available at many stores and not expensive (a few dollars)
DICK R
One 3.0v CR2032 Lithium battery
ELIZABETH W
the battery is a CR2032 3v lithium, and yes its user replaceable very easy!
RUSSELL D
It is a user replaceable battery. Battery type is CR2032.
JOHN F
The PADI eRDP ML uses a CR2032 battery. This is a very common 3v Lithium battery about the size of a nickel (US). Simple replacement via the twist-lock panel on the bottom. I've had mine for a year and am still on the original battery (included). Enjoy yours. It's a handy dive tool but really shines as a simulator/trainer.
SCOTT K
It's a common button cell type. And is easily user replaceable. It's a handy tool for the price.
JAMES G
They are pre-installed and user replaceable.....
