The highly anticipated Tusa Liberator Sigma II BCD is a heavy duty, wraparound jacket-style BC that utilizes Tusa s advanced weight loading system and ultimate stabilizing harness, which ensures security and stability. With its two large, double zippered pockets with mesh drainage, you can maximize utility and function. Tusa s advanced weight loading system (AWLS) allows the diver to insert weights into the weight cartridges and loading them easily into the front of the BC jacket. Additionally, with weight distribution to the shoulder area, the weighted down feeling that is traditionally associated with weight belts is eliminated. Weight cartridges can accommodate 8lbs (3.63kg) to 10lbs (4.54kg) of weight in each cartridge and two, rear trim pockets can hold up to 4lbs (2kg) in each non releasable pocket. The AWLS weight cartridges are easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that they do not release accidentally.
The key to comfort with the Liberator Sigma II BCD is its independent harness system (IHS). The IHS isolates the BC jacket s harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell inflation deflation. The IHS prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back. The Liberator Sigma II BCD uses Tusa s next generation IHS featuring an integrated carry handle and additional adjustability to dial in a perfect fit and a neutrally buoyant construction allowing the diver to shed the lead, removing approximately 2 lbs (1 kg) of lead from their system. Tusa s ultimate stabilizing harness (USH) completely eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fit. The USH securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight.
BCD is made from durable 500-cordura nylon with an internal urethane laminated air cell. BCD has, 2 large zippered pockets. Torso-adjustable shoulder straps provide excellent comfort and adjustable waist strap with cummerbund provides precise adjustment of the harness. All straps are equipped with squeeze-style" side release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Trimming buoyancy is easy with 2 dump/overpressure relief valves. The Liberator provides 18lbs to 46lbs (8.16kg to 20.9kg) of lift depending on the BCD size. Accessory attachment is made easy with 1 stainless Steel D-ring and 4 resin D-rings. BCD comes with an owner s manual, 3/8" threaded low pressure (LP) hose and is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.
The RS-811 Regulator delivers superior performance and quality in a Compact Lightweight Design. The ultra-compact chromed marine brass balanced flow thru piston R-800 first stage is incredibly small and weighs only 24.7 oz (700g). The R-800 is configured with 2 HP hoses and 4 LP ports. The balanced piston, first stage regulator is fine-tuned for optimum performance and instantly delivers high airflow to the second stage regulator.
The RS-811also offers an advanced flow system (AFS) that allows ease of airflow and makes air delivery smoother due to the curved housing Structure. The VENTURI flow adjustment pre-dive/dive switch allows for ease of breathing by controlling the direction of air through the Mouthpiece. The ergonomically conscious mouthpiece feature prevents jaw fatigue. The ridges and flexible material allow the diver to have more control of the mouthpiece and reduces tension in the jaw.
The 2nd stage is a dependable downstream demand valve design. The regulators compact size and lightweight properties make this one great regulator design. The regulator comes with a 30" (76cm) 3/8" threaded low-pressure hose; owner manual and is covered by a limited Lifetime warranty.
The TUSA Octopus offers an ideal balance of quality, Comfort, and Reliability. The SS-60 s fail-safe downstream valve means you can dive breathing easily. The SS-60 shares the same features as the S-60 but with a high-visibility yellow purge cover and 39" (99 cm) long yellow hose. The "surface" or "dive" control allows the user to set the ease of breathing for varying sections of the dive. The case is made from super tough nylon (heat pliable polyamide resin) reinforced with glass fiber for outstanding hardness and shock resistance. The material also offers superior tensile strength, dimensional stability, heat resistance, weather resistance and chemical resistance regulator comes with a comprehensive owner s manual and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
The SCA-282 two-gauge Element II console features the IQ-750 Element II dive computer and a 4000 PSI pressure gauge in a compact low-profile two color boot. The computer console is a full-featured, user-friendly instrument with an innovative interface designed exclusively for divers. The Element II is an easy-to-use, 3-button, puck-style computer offering a myriad of dive data details plus additional features including a Deep Stop function.
The Element II can be operated as an Air computer, nitrox (EANx) computer, digital depth gauge/timer or as a free dive depth gauge/timer. The IQ-750 offers several desirable features including: Water-activation, 2 Mix Gas Switching ability, a large alphanumeric and backlit display, audible and visual alarms, advanced user safety settings, and PC download/upload. A user replaceable CR2450 Lithium Battery powers the computer. TUSA Algorithm is based on Buhlmann ZHL-16c Pelagic Z+ model a modified Haldanean 12 compartment algorithm. Computer features include a maximum depth display of 399' (120 meters), imperial or metric units, temperature, 12/24 hour format, pre-dive plan mode from 30'-190' (9-57 meters), time to fly and de-saturation countdowns, 24 dive log memory function and more. Computer comes with a comprehensive Owner's Manual and is covered by a 24 month limited warranty.
New for 2012 is TUSA s Pressure Gauge. This rugged easy to read pressure gauge has color-coded pressure readout for added safety. The gauge measures pressure from 0 to 5,000 psi. The 0 to 500 psi section is colored in bright red to denote reserve air, the 1,000 to 5,000 psi section is color coded in blue. Pressure gauge is also equipped with a thermometer measuring temperature from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The both the computer and gauge are incased in an impact resistant boot with an eyelet for attachment of a lanyard or clip. HP hose is 7/16" threaded. Pressure gauge and computer is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.
