The RS-680 Regulator delivers Superior Performance and Quality in a Compact Lightweight Design. The R-600 mated with a newly developed S-80 Second Stage further pushes the engineering and performance envelope. The Compact Chromed Marine Brass Balanced Diaphragm R-600 First Stage is Incredibly-Small and Weighs only 22.2 oz (630g). The R-600 is configured with 2 HP and 4 LP Ports. The Balanced Diaphragm, First Stage Regulator is inherently Environmentally Sealed. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the delicate internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance.
The S-80 Second Stage offers the following features: S.E.A. - Sequential Exhaust Assist
The Sequential Exhaust Assist (S.E.A.) is a Second Stage design featuring a Dual Exhaust System. The S.E.A. System consists of an Enlarged-Primary and an Auxiliary Exhaust. The Auxiliary Exhaust, located on top of the S-80 Elliptical Case, works in union with the Primary to Significantly Decrease Exhalation Resistance. Exhalation Resistance Directly-Affects the Diver's Natural Breathing Cycle, Reducing this Resistance the diver Breathes-More-Naturally and Comfortably Reducing Respiration Rate and Air Consumption.
The Venturi Adjustment Lever on the S-80 allows the Regulator to Power-Assist the Diver when underwater utilizing the Natural-Venturi Effect. The diver may also Adjust-the-Lever to Prevent Free Flow such as on a Surface Swim.
Moisture Exchange Plate
The Second Stage has a Moisture Exchange Plate that Captures-Condensation produced by Inhalation and Exhalation Efforts. This Condensation Increases the Humidity of the Air Breathed and helps to reduce that "Dry Mouth" sensation often experienced while diving.
Breathing Resistance Adjustment Control
The Breathing Resistance Adjustment Control on the S-80 allows the diver to Adjust the Flow of Air according to their needs. The Easy-Adjust Multiple-Click Knob allows you to Quickly-and-Finely Tune Breathing Resistance. The Ortho-Consciously Mouthpiece further enhances the Comfort of Bite, Fit, and Stability. Even with a Light-Bite, a High Level of Stability is achieved so there is no Fatigue from long periods of usage. For Optimum Performance and Comfort, a 29" (74 cm) Swivel Hose is fitted between the S-80 Second Stage and the R-600 First Stage. The Swivel-Joint allows Flexibility of the Hose to Eliminate Hose Tension. The S-80 is a Reliable Down-Stream Demand Valve Design.
TUSA Dual-Air Alternate Combo Inflator
When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was Buoyancy Control. Once you start diving for fun you use your Buoyancy Control Devise constantly throughout the dive. Your Octopus or Alternate Air Source Devise on the other hand is never used unless there is an Emergency Out-of-Air Situation. Reacting properly in an Out of Air Situation can make the difference between a Safe Dive and a Tragedy. If your Alternate Air Source and your BCD Inflator Devise are one and the same you will always know where to find it in an emergency.
In an effort to continually meet the needs of today's divers, TUSA is expanding their regulator line with the Inflator Regulator. It's a downstream backup regulator that also provides you with easy-to-operate buoyancy control. The Inflator Regulator is positioned at the end of the buoyancy compensator hose, the ideal location for quick, efficient use. Because you use it as your power inflator, you always know where it's located. Plus, the Inflator Regulator cuts down on hose clutter because you use the same hose to supply both the power inflator and the backup regulator. The regulator features a dependable down-stream demand valve mechanism. The Regulator's Pre-Tuned System is housed in a Carbon Fiber and Techno-Polymer Case for Strength and Durability. The Demand Valve is Chrome Plated Brass with a Stainless Steel Spring and a Silicone Rubber Diaphragm and Exhaust Valve. The Pro-Plus 2.1 offers Large, Easy-to-Read Alphanumeric Displays and Color Coded Graphs where Green means "Go," Yellow means "Caution" and Red means "Stop." There are user settable Audible and Visual Alarms. Alarms include: High 02, High and Maximum P02, Turn-Around Time Tank Pressure, Maximum Depth, Elapsed Dive Time, Maximum Nitrogen and Dive Time Remaining. The Computer has Graphic Indicators for Air Time Remaining, Oxygen Loading, No Decompression Time Remaining, 02 Time Remaining and Ascent Rate.
The Computer can be Manually Turned-On or Water Activated. The CR2 Battery is User-Replaceable at any time without the loss of data. The Computer Displays Temperature and Time of Day, although suitable for sport divers the Computer it can be used as a Computer for Air/Nitrox or Depth Gauge to 330' (100 meters). It offers both Tim-to-Fly and De-Saturation Countdowns. It Automatically Adjusts for Altitude and for Salt or Fresh Water. The Computers Algorithm is a Modified Haldanean / DSAT (Diving Science and Technology) Database.
