Innovation at its best is the way to explain the function of the Genesis first stage regulator. The first stage regulator incorporates Genesis Dry Air Demand (DAD). This simple yet unique design has a flow-by piston that mechanically balances the air of the first stage ensuring excellent breathing characteristics at full or low cylinder pressures. Balanced flow-by piston design, which is a "fail safe" mechanism, with a patented dry seal internal mechanism to keep the intricate components clean and contaminate free no matter what kind of environment you dive it in, constructed from marine grade chrome plated brass for long life and durability.
The DAD function allows the regulator is increase the intermediate pressure of the regulator without messy oils or grease as with more sophisticated designs. This added benefit makes the regulator virtually uncontaminated from the environment of salt, sand or chlorine internally, which makes it the choice of most repair technicians. The first stage is equipped with two 7/16" threaded high pressure (HP) ports and four 3/8" threaded low pressure (LP) ports for addition of gauges and LP accessories; this is one work horse first stage regulator. Tee - shaped design reduces regulator profile when mounted on tank minimizing opportunity to make contact with the back of the head. First stage has a high capacity inlet filter for smooth delivery of air to the second stage.
The Genesis GS2000 Balance 2'nd Stage delivers air effortlessly; its pre-dive/dive switch eliminates sensitivity when swimming through surf, jumping off the side of the boat, or fining in a current, yet allows high performance breathing when needed. Durability is assured with a non-corrosive ABS/Polycarbonate housing and a corrosion resistant passivated (302) stainless steel demand valve lever. Breathing resistance is adjustable for optimal resistance. The GS2000 2'nd stage regulator adjustment knob is unique in that once the diver finishes tuning the regulator at the surface, the second stage automatically compensates for changes in ambient pressure providing smooth and easy breathing from start to finish of your dive. The regulators orthodontic mouthpiece allows hours of comfortable breathing without jaw fatigue. Regulator comes with an owner's manual.
The Genesis S K O Octopus is rugged, dependable, and affordable. The S.K.O Octopus is engineered to provide you with the same outstanding reliability as your primary regulator. It fits comfortably in your right-or-left hand, making this octopus convenient-for-all divers. The compact, low profile S K O is made with durable, lightweight ABS plastic material for a less cumbersome dive. The sleek, simple structure is easy to clean and maintain, giving outstanding performance.
For easy identification, this octopus has bright, highly visible yellow soft purge cover. The S.K.O Octopus come equipped with an extra-long, 36" (91.4 cm) LP hose with standard 3/8" threads. The Octopus is built-to-last with a silicone mouthpiece, diaphragm and exhaust valve. The valve mechanism is a dependable downstream demand valve with a resilient silicone poppet seat and stainless steel lever.
The Genesis Compact Console is a low profiled and ergonomically-designed to fit in the hand-comfortably, and is easy-to-read at a glance with its outstanding-graphics. The console has an air filled depth gauge with a 0 to 200' readout and maximum depth indicator. The maximum depth indicator needle which will mark your deepest depth reached on a dive. This feature is helpful when logging dive information providing key information for repetitive dives. The colored graphics allow quick-glance-monitoring with bright depth indicators at strategic positions on the gauge face. The red and orange indicators are at 0' to 30'. The depth range from 35' to 120' is in blue and then from depths beyond the standard sport diving limits of 130' to 200' is in red. Gauge face is luminescent for night or low light situations.
Pressure Gauge has a Pressure Readout from 0 to 5,000 psi and features a Temperature Gauge. The Pressure Gauge like the depth gauge has high visibility graphics with bright red from 0 to 500 psi of reserve air, orange indicators above 500 to 1,000 psi for extended reserve air for deeper dives and blue above 1,000 to 5,000 psi. Pressure gauge face is also luminescent. The temperature gauge has a bright red needle for easy reading. Pressure Gauge comes with a 32" (81.3 cm) high pressure 7/16" threaded hose. Both the depth and pressure gauges are small 1 75" (4.4 cm) diameter and are protected by an impact resistant rubber boot that has rubber eyelets for attachment of a lanyard or clip keeping the diver streamline and reef and environment conscious. Console also has a small-slate located on the back side that can be removed to incorporate the compass option (see SKU: SWDCM6).
