About Vacation Package

The XS2/AC2 Regulator is an exceptionally dependable non-balanced flow-by-piston designed 1st stage regulator that is a great choice as a new divers rig, or for use as a stage bottle regulator system. The 1'st stage has 1 HP port and 4 LP ports, and is made from marine grade chromed brass for long life and durability. A conical filter is used which has greater surface area for higher air flow characteristics through the 1'st stage regulator.

The XS2 compact second-stage housing is made of durable non-corrosive hi-tech polymers, and has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism. The flow of air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a flow deviator that acts on the venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Regulator comes with a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The XS2 Compact AC2 Regulator weighs 35 oz. (994 g) with the Hose, and comes with an owner's manual.

The Oceanic Slimline 2 Octopus is rugged and dependable . The Slimline 2 Octopus is engineered to provide you with the same outstanding reliability as your primary regulator. It fits comfortably in your right or left hand, making this octopus convenient for all divers. The compact, low profile Slimline 2 is made with durable, lightweight techno-polymer material for a less cumbersome dive. The sleek, simple structure is easy to clean and maintain, giving outstanding performance.

For easy identification, this octopus has bright, highly visible yellow soft purge cover and yellow low pressure (LP) hose. The Slimline 2 Octopus weighs 4.87 oz. (138 g); come equipped with an extra-long, 39" (99 cm) LP hose with standard 3/8" threads. The Octopus is built to last with a silicone mouthpiece, diaphragm and exhaust valve. The valve mechanism is a dependable downstream demand valve with a resilient silicone poppet seat and stainless steel lever. The regulator comes with an owner's manual.

The Genesis Compact Console is a low profiled and ergonomically designed to fit in the hand comfortably, and is easy to read at a glance with its outstanding graphics. The console has an air filled depth gauge with a 0 to 200' readout and maximum depth indicator. The maximum depth indicator needle will mark your deepest depth reached on a dive. This feature is helpful when logging dive information and providing key information for repetitive dives. The colored graphics allow quick glance monitoring with bright depth indicators at strategic positions on the gauge face. The red and orange indicators are at 0' to 30'. The depth range from 35' to 120' is in blue and then from depths beyond the standard sport diving limits of 130' to 200' is in red. Gauge face is luminescent for night or low light situations.

The pressure gauge has a pressure readout from 0 to 5,000 psi and features a temperature gauge. The pressure gauge like the depth gauge has high visibility graphics with bright red from 0 to 500 psi of reserve Air, orange indicators above 500 to 1,000 psi for extended reserve air for deeper dives and blue above 1,000 to 5,000 psi. Pressure gauge face is also luminescent. The temperature gauge has a bright red needle for easy reading. Pressure gauge comes with a 32" (81.3 cm) high pressure 7/16" threaded hose. Both the depth and pressure gauges are small 1 75" (4.4 cm) diameter and protected by an impact resistant rubber boot that has rubber eyelets for attachment of a lanyard or clip keeping the diver streamline and reef and environment conscious. Console also has a small slate located on the back side that can be removed to incorporate the Compass Option (see SKU: SWDCM6).

Included with the package is a hose that has standard 3/8" male threaded end to install in the first stage regulator LP port, and a quick-disconnect coupler on the opposite end to attach to most BCD inflator mechanisms. Both metal fittings are constructed from marine grade chrome plated brass for long life and durability. This double breaded neoprene jacketed hose has a working pressure of 300 psi (20.7 bars) and comes in to lengths of 27" or 36" (68.6 cm or 91 4cm).

Questions about this item:

Mike G  Any way to get a compass in this package. Basically a three vs two gauge console?
Frank L  Please call us directly, and we can sell you a gauge with a compass for this set. You would just pay the difference.
Mike G  That's good news, thanks Frank
SHEENA D  Call customer service, they modified a package for me.
Shopper  Is this poduct suitable for diving in Monterey around 50F?
JARED M  We dive cold water. We dive from 32 degrees - 60 degtrees regularly. I have never had any problems.
ARMANDO M  Yes, My 11 year old son used it in 45 degree water for two 1 hour dives with no problems, I hope this helps.
Shopper  Hi I am a beginning diver, just got certified and I want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything here. All I would need if I were to get this kit is a BCD and a tank correct? Well and dive computer (optional).
Brett H  Yep, a tank and BC will round off the major parts of your dive kit assuming you have your own mask, fins, snorkel, boots and gloves. You still may want a wetsuit, hangers, dive bag, lights and other odds and ends depending on the dives you would want to do.
