Both the diving computer and download interface are very easy to use. I have Windows 7 computer. Alert is loud enough to hear clearly. I also like the relatively big screen size (compared to Scubapro Aldain Tec 2G I owned before) So far I am happy with it.

I took the Leonardo out on my Open Water checkout dives 3&4 last Saturday. The conditions were horrible, I couldn't read my gauges or the computer. The Log info was helpful though so I guess it works fine.

Comments about Cressi Leonardo Wrist Computer with PC Download:

I am a beginning diver at age 55. After getting my Open Water certification, I decided a computer was going to be my first purchase. I already had a good mask with corrective lenses and snorkel. I researched online, and found reviews and recommendations for the Leonardo rating it a Best Buy and good for beginners. Also, Cressi was noted for being on the conservative side, and as an older beginner I wanted a conservative device, and the single button and large readout was very appealing. I ordered the Leonardo with the cradle for downloading. I received my order in less than a week, via USPS, a must for the USVI. The device instructions are nicely illustrated, and it took only a few minutes to set up with time and date, and to adjust the Safety Factor. My first dives with it were great, and it was very easy to use and to see underwater. The ascent alarm is sensitive, and sudden upward movements of my left arm will trigger the alarm. Again, as I am new, I prefer this safety factor, as well as the ability to adjust the overall Safety Factor for the dive tables. Between dives the display shows surface interval, and shuts off to conserve battery life. During your surface interval, the Dive Planning function is very easy to use, and shows No Decomp times for various depths with just a push of the button. The software and cradle were easy to install and use on my Mac Mini. I did have to download the software from Cressi, although it comes on a mini CDROM since my Mac Mini has not CD reader. The Leonardo and software with cradle worked perfectly, downloaded my first dives easily and you can review entire dive profiles, and add additional info the log, and save the logs. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend the Leonardo.
