Great belt accessory

Perfect for pulling surface floats!

Does what it's supposed to do

By ALAN P.

I use this to attach a safety sausage and camera while snorkeling. So far it has worked well. I like that it's not stamped steel so it has no sharp edges.

We always need to attach more stuff to our equipment to free up our hands when we need them. Lanyards for lights, cameras, gauges, game bags, or maybe even a fish stringer when spear fishing. Having a few spare weight belt D-rings in your gear bag is a must for the serious diver.½The Omer D-Ring Belt Accessory is a useful accessory that allows for a quick hook-up to the weight belt. The spear fisherman can easily and quickly use the D-Ring to hook onto their spear gun or float line. It can also be used simultaneously as a weight stop, so the block weights don't slide on the belt, although it's designed more specifically as a robust non-corrosive plastic attachment point. Extremely strong, it's an ideal accessory to make the spear fishermen life more practical in the water. In addition it can be used as a safety ditching device to dump a weight belt by attaching a line to it. Weight belt D-ring makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

ANGELA J  What width belt will this accommodate? 2, 2.5, or 3 inch?
CHRIS S  The slits on the slider are just a tiny bit bigger than 2 inches, so I would say only a 2" belt will work.
MIKE S  2"
GEORGE S  I used mine on a 2" belt but didn't use the slot. I drilled my belt and used flat headed aluminum male/female connectors through the holes provided in the clip. Hope that helps. I think you would need a thin belt maybe 1.5" max if you want to use the slot.
CHARLIE Z  only fits a 2 inch belt.
ANGELA J  Thank you!
ANGELA J  Thank you!
ANGELA J  Thank you!
ROBERT H  Fits standard 2" weight belt webbing. Will not fit wider web.
ADAM P  I purchased these in 2010, they fit neatly and tightly into a 2" webbing. They do not fit 2.5 or 3.0". They also cannot have a double layer of 2" fit through easily or tubular 2" fit through.
OLIVIA O  I can't recall if mine would fit 3" webbing but it definitely fit 2" webbing with room. I was surprisingly happy with the durability of the plastic as well.
Shopper  Is this D ring metal or is it plastic?
JACOB D  It is plastic.
ROBERT H  It''s made of a heavy duty plastic like material - something like nylon. Very durable, so far seems "Unbreakable".
ARNETTE D  Plastic
NANCY S  Almost indestructible plastic.
RICK L  It's made from a hard plastic. I clip a small camera, scissors, and a slate to it, when working in the ocean, which is several times a week. Excellent for setting up my utility belt for both SCUBA and snorkel. Other surveyors now do the same.
ADAM P  It is plastic, but strong.
ANDREW B  plastic
JAMES L  Its hard plastic
GEORGE S  Plastic and I love it. No rust and nice and quiet. Hope that helps.
