About Omer America Shafts 6.5MM

new line of shafts integrating three shark-fins in place of traditional notches. These shafts are unique in that the shark fins are cast using the same stainless steel as the shafts (17-4PH) and are fixed to the shafts using an innovative system that aside from ensuring perfect alignment with the shaft gives it a tested strength greater than 300Kg's / 650 lbs. The profile of the shark fins is thin with the end resulting in better hydrodynamics and penetration through the fish. Loading the wishbones is easier and safer as well. Each shark fin has a hole so the diver can choose which hole to attach the shooting line on. The shafts come in a natural satin finish providing a non glare appearance and come standard with a new point design that increases penetration. The barbs are newly designed with a lower profile to improve hydrodynamics and penetration while simultaneously guaranteeing a secure hold of the fish once it's passed.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Does it fit my Omersub Cayman Aluminum Speargun 100cm? I want to try shark fin shaft but my one is closed Muzzle.
Ben T  Will not work with a closed muzzle.
Shopper  what is thread size?
Steve S  This shaft is not threaded. This shaft has the tip already ground onto this.
faisal a  does it fit omer cayman roller ?
karl m  Yes, if your shaft that came with cayman roller is Euro design (meaning it has a curved cut out for the trigger mechanism. The American shafts have a notch cut out for the trigger mechanism. Your gun can use the 6.5mm to 7 mm shafts. Also, I put rubber from an old pole spear on the metal wishbones becuase the top of the ET track was getting scratched or you can change it to spectrac/dyneema line wishbones. I also dunk my gun in freash water because it will corrode. I also had to reseal the aluminum center section because it was filling with water. Other than that it has been a great gun and very acurate. Good luck, Charlie (karl)
