Is this top for wearing when swimming? I am looking for a top to wear that can help keep me a little warmer in the water and with the UV protection (but I don't want a full blown wetsuit that's more troublesome to wear and take off).
Yes, this is for swimming or for dry use. It is very similar to an under armor type of undershirt.
It is not a full blown wetsuit. Very thin, very comfortable, definitely warmer than wearing nothing and getting in and out is great with this...you don't get a chill everytime.
I love mine and I'll order another if this ever wears out...which it won't since it is great quality! Stitching is perfect, you won't even know it's there.
I returned a Cressi shirt that was similar, the stitching was irritating, this one is like wearing silk.
Its perfect for swimming and it fits well and no tight so you will find its good for swimming and for uv protection. buy a size larger it you want a loose fit but for me it feels right not tight or anything just right.
This shirt will work great for swimming. It is very stretchable and comfortable, will provide a bit of warmth as well.
It would work for swimming. It is mostly for sun protection not much extra warmth.
Yup. This top will do exactly that. It's very form fitting and not loose at all. I'm 6'3'' 200 lbs and I went with the xl and its perfect.
Absolutely. I wore this top last year during a visit to the Bahamas in mid-February. Perfect while swimming, dried quickly and I also wore out of the water for a good bit too. Very comfortable all day and was enough to keep the sun off me too. No complaints.
This is a skin, made of lycra, very thin and stretchy. It does offer a little warmth, though not much, but protection from sunburn and sand rash on beach if you body surf or play in waves. For more warmth look up the Scubapro 1 mm shirt, it is wetsuit material, costs more, but will keep you warmer. These are fantastic though for Hawaii like waters to protect you from sun and sea life, and look fantastic.
Soory, Didn't get a chance to wear it yet.
