Got this snorkel before a trip to Maui. The snorkel was completely dry!. No problems with water entering it either from waves or from going under the water. Construction quality is noticeably high quality.
Worked great!

I bought this for my 6 year old and it worked perfectly. This was her first snorkeling experience and I didn't want to ruin it with a cheap snorkel. We have previous models of these snorkels that are almost 10 years old and they still work just as great.

It doesn't say ,has no markings on it other than Oceanic dry snorkel.

What is the difference between a normal and mini snorkel?
Lindsay B
Thank you everyone this is good stuff!
RICHARD C
The mouthpiece is smaller. For me, it works great; comfortable and no leaking.
MARK M
The mini is the one we got for our daughter. If I remember correctly, the only difference is a smaller mouthpiece.
RICHARD S
The mini snorkel has a smaller mouthpiece, ideal for children or adults with smaller mouths. All other features are the same as the standard model.
JEFFERY B
The mouth piece is smaller.
GEORGE P
The actual length is smaller
Good snorkel works great
TIMOTHY H
Designed for smaller mouths. Unless you are a child or extremely petite individual I would recommend the normal.
TERRELL L
The mini has a smaller mouthpiece which is better for women or kids
YAN G
The mini is slightly shorter, and it has a smaller mouthpiece.

I have just received a brand new Oceanic ultradry snorkel. How does the Swiveling Quick-Release Snorkel Keeper detatch? I have pushed down what I believe to be the release lever but it will not detach from the mask strap assembly. Could it be defective or is there a trick?
MICHAEL A C
Rotate it until it is perpendicular to the slot then push it in. To release you do the same thing, rotate it, push the release down while pushing the snorkel up.
JAMES M
I recommend you get rid of it and buy a simple large barrel snorkel, with no gimmicks.
MARK M
I don't have it handy, but I'm pretty sure you have to rotate it either 90 or 180 degrees and then push the button and slide it off. Even so it was still pretty stiff. You'll think you're about to break it and then it pops off...:)
Peter M
Thanks for the response. You are right. Snorkel side of the clip has to be rotated 90 degrees to either side. Then it is just a matter of pressing the release leaver and sliding the clip off. I appreciate the help.

great products, timely, good prices

bought 3 to test and share on dive & snorkel trips. This one is second best to the Cuda. The shutoff valve is not quite as good but better than my spirit ultra dry.
